LeadLocate Help Center: Step by Step Guides
Every guide names the real buttons and menus. If a label is on a page here, it is on your screen.
The Help Center is the documentation for the LeadLocate platform: one page per task, in order, with the exact labels you will see on screen. Guides cover setup, daily use, desking and deals, SecureWebX credit applications, Inventory Link and the My LeadLocate account portal. For anything a guide does not answer, support is a call, a text or a ticket away.
How the guides are written
Each guide starts with what you need before you begin, then the steps, then what you should see when it worked, then what to check if it did not. Labels that appear on screen are shown as key caps, like Send a Text, and every one of them is checked against the live product templates before the guide is published, so a guide never names a button that does not exist. Guides stay in the present tense and the second person because that is how someone reads with one hand on the mouse.
The guides are grouped by product. The CRM group covers setup and daily use; desking and deals have their own group because the customer deal page is a workflow of its own; SecureWebX and Inventory Link each have a group; and the My LeadLocate group covers billing, add-ons and account access.
When a guide is not enough
Some questions are about your account rather than the product, and some are about a store's process. For those, the support team is available by phone and text at 844-376-2274 during business hours, by ticket from the account portal at any time, and through live training sessions you can schedule from the CRM. The feature directory explains what each feature is for, which is the other half of most questions, and the glossary defines the terms the guides use.

Setup guides come first
The guides a new account needs are grouped under getting started: setting up a profile and notification preferences, adding users and roles, business hours, connecting Google Calendar and setting a booking link, importing contacts, setting up lead feeds and round robin, adding a tracking phone number, call forwarding, recording a voicemail greeting, building an IVR call flow, turning on the virtual receptionist, the DNC blacklist, authenticating an email domain, creating Automated Templates, building a Follow Up Process, the referral program, designing a business card, connecting ad accounts, building a lead campaign, creating a lead page, connecting a domain and editing the website. Most stores finish that list in a single afternoon with a specialist on the phone, and the guides let a store do it again for a new user without the call.
Daily use guides are short on purpose
A daily use guide answers one question, such as how to send a picture in a text, how to drop a voicemail, how to merge two leads, how to start a deal from a lead or how to send a deal page for signature. They are written to be read in the time it takes a customer to walk from the lot to the desk. Each one ends with the related tasks, so a rep who learned to send an apply link by text also sees how to review the application when it comes back and how to add a stipulation. Managers can hand a new hire the daily use group as a first week checklist; the solutions pages then show how those tasks combine into a role.
What a guide will never do
A guide will never name a control that is not on your screen, promise a result the platform does not control, or tell you to do something that breaks a compliance rule. Where a task carries a rule, texting consent before a campaign, a do not call check before a call list, a disclosure before a credit application goes out, the guide puts the check in the step. Where a task touches money on your account, the guide says exactly what happens next, such as turning Automatic Renewal off, which warns like a cancel and sets the account to cancel at the end of the subscription. If a guide seems to disagree with what you see, tell support; the templates and the guides are checked against each other and a difference means one of them changed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these guides for the desktop CRM or the mobile app?
Both. A guide says where it applies, and tasks that differ on the phone have their own guide.
How current are the guides?
The labels in every guide are checked against the live product templates before publishing, so a guide never names a control that is not there.
Can I get help from a person?
Yes. Call or text 844-376-2274, open a ticket from your account portal, or schedule a live training session from the CRM.
I cannot find a guide for my task.
Tell us which task and we write it. Anything not listed is available on request.
