LeadLocate by Dealer Type and Industry

Selling a boat, a semi or a lease is not selling a sedan. These pages say which features carry the weight for each kind of store.

These pages describe the platform for a specific kind of dealer: what is different about the unit and the buyer, which LeadLocate features do the heavy lifting, how inventory and financing work for that type, and where the honest limits are. The desking engine already covers auto, RV, powersports, marine, buy here pay here and fleet, and a feed or DMS is never required to start.

Why a page per dealer type

A motorcycle dealer desks a unit with accessories and a riding season. A commercial truck dealer sells to a business with a fleet manager and a finance company that wants documents in a specific format. An auto broker has no lot at all and lives on brand offer pages and a phone. Generic CRM copy serves none of them, so each page below starts from the buyer and the unit and works back to the features: Inventory Link for merchandising, SecureWebX for the credit application, DealTracker for the numbers and the CRM for everything in between.

Where LeadLocate already sells leads for a type, the page links the lead program too; RV dealers and auto brokers have had programs for years. Where a type is served by the software first, the page says so and points at the plan that fits, usually CRM Only to start. The solutions pages then cover the roles and workflows inside any of these stores.

What is different about each type, in one line each

Franchise stores have an OEM, a DMS and a lead volume that punishes slow response, so routing and automation carry the page. Independent lots have thinner margins and no feed, so importing inventory from the store's own website and desking on a phone carry it. Buy here pay here stores carry their own paper, so the credit application, stipulations and payment reminder texting carry it. Auto brokers have no lot, so brand offer pages, the vehicle finder and a phone first CRM carry it. Motorcycle, powersports, marine and RV dealers sell seasonal units with accessories, so the universal desking field set and inventory merchandising carry it. Commercial truck, heavy equipment and fleet sales sell to businesses that want documents in a specific format, so SecureWebX export formats and deal pages carry it. Exotic, classic and EV specialists sell to buyers who research for months, so the customer deal page, deal chat and long follow up processes carry it.

How to use these pages when you are comparing vendors

Read your own type first, then the feature pages it links, then the pricing page. If your type has a lead program, the page links it and explains what a lead for that unit looks like, and the what to expect page explains how consumers actually behave when they submit one. If your type is served by the software first, start with CRM Only and add leads when the zone is right. Every page ends with the honest fit, meaning the parts of your business the platform leaves to your DMS and your shop, and it says so plainly.

Start with the plan that fits the type

Every plan includes the whole platform, so the choice is only about leads. A store whose type has a lead program picks the plan for the shoppers it wants, buyers, sellers or both, and the zone it wants them from. A store whose type is served by the software first starts with CRM Only, which is the same platform without leads, and adds a lead program when the zone and the season are right. Skip A Month covers the off season that several of these types live with. None of it is a contract; every plan is month to month, and the pricing page carries the current figures. If a type below does not describe your store exactly, the closest one will, and a specialist can walk through the differences on a live account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the desking engine handle units other than cars?

Yes. The field set covers auto, RV, powersports, marine, buy here pay here and fleet deals, with the fifty state tax matrix and three lease tax methods.

Can a dealer with no inventory feed use Inventory Link?

Yes. Inventory Link can import units from the dealer's own website, and a broker with no lot uses brand offer pages instead of a feed.

Are leads available for every dealer type?

Lead programs exist for several types and the page for each type says which. Every type can run the platform with CRM Only and add leads later.

My dealer type is not listed. What now?

Ask. Anything not listed is available on request and our team sets it up for your store.
