Motorcycle Dealer Software: CRM, Leads and Credit Apps
A CRM that texts a bike with photos, desks it on the same worksheet a car store uses, takes the credit application from a phone on the showroom floor, and keeps every rider in one record from the first question to the day they trade it in.
What is different about selling a motorcycle?
A motorcycle is a want before it is a need, and that changes everything about how the buyer behaves. A rider knows the model before they walk in, often the color, and they have read more about it than the person selling it. They shop in a season, they come in on weekends, and they bring a friend who owns the last one. The unit itself is smaller money than a car and bigger emotion, the trade is usually another bike with a story attached, and the accessories the buyer wants are a real part of the deal rather than an afterthought at the end.
The store is different too. A motorcycle dealership is often a service and parts business with a sales floor attached, so the salesperson is also the person who answers the phone about a tire, and the manager runs the desk between two other jobs. Response time matters exactly as much as it does at a car store, but nobody is sitting at a desk waiting for the lead to arrive. That is why the tools on this page are the ones that live on a phone: the texting inbox, the desking worksheet, the credit application link and the calendar.
Motorcycle dealer software, in the way this page uses the term, is the sales side of the business: leads, conversations, the deal, the credit application and the inventory the rider sees online. Your dealer management system keeps parts, service, accounting and title work, and the platform sits beside it. The industries hub describes the whole family of dealer types the same way.
Which LeadLocate features carry the weight at a bike store?
Four features do most of the work. The first is the Two Way Texting Inbox, because riders text. A salesperson answers from the desktop or the phone app, sees delivery status on every bubble, sends pictures as MMS, and taps the vehicle button in the composer to drop the exact bike into the thread with its photo, model, mileage, stock number and price. No more typing a unit description from memory while the customer waits.
The second is EZ Desking. The worksheet's field set is universal across auto, RV, powersports, marine, buy here pay here and fleet, so a bike desks on the same screen your car store friends use, as cash, finance or lease, with a multi pencil grid for the three ways the rider might want to structure it and a 50 state tax matrix for where your store sits. The third is SecureWebX, which puts a branded credit application link in every text and email so the rider fills it in from the couch or the showroom bench and the store sees it in the application inbox within the minute.
The fourth is the calendar. Riders want a demo ride slot, and Calendar Settings gives every salesperson a booking link with booking hours, round robin assignment on the shared calendar, and Google Calendar connect for the people who live in it. Around those four sit the rest of the LeadLocate CRM: Follow Up Processes for the rider who is waiting for tax season, Automated Templates for the inbound lead nobody has claimed yet, call recording on the store line, and Team Chat so the sales floor and the service counter talk in one place.

How do I desk a bike with a trade, a term and the taxes for my state?
Open the lead, press Start New Deal, and the unit, the rider and the co-buyer are already on the worksheet. Choose Cash, Finance or Lease, set the term and rate, add the trade with its payoff, and the payment recalculates as you type. Trade credit caps and semimonthly frequency are there for the stores that need them, and the deal defaults are centralized so every salesperson starts from the same fees and the same tax handling rather than the last deal they touched.
When the rider wants to think about it, the deal goes with them. A customer deal page, branded to your store, opens with a PIN and shows the pencil, the revisions and a place to sign; the deal pages with e-signature page walks through it. Deal Chat lets the rider ask a question on that page and the salesperson answer it in the CRM. A PencilRecap sheet is the one page version for the buyer who wants to show a spouse, and print packets with payment ranges cover the customer who still wants paper.
The Deal Jacket collects the license, the insurance card, the trade title photos and anything else from a phone camera through a QR code, the driver license scanner fills the customer record from the card itself, and the Road to Sale checklist shows the manager what is done and what is missing on every deal in the Desking menu. The desking tool page covers the case for desking inside the CRM in general.
How do I merchandise motorcycles without a feed or a photographer?
Inventory Link takes your units from whatever you have. If your store runs an inventory feed, connect it through Inventory Feeds and correct any field that arrives wrong in the feed editor. If the only place your bikes exist online is your dealership website, Inventory Link imports them from that website with your permission; twenty eight website platforms are recognised, and our team puts a connection in production for your dealership on request when yours is outside that list. A feed and DMS access are not required, which is the sentence that matters most to the single rooftop store.
Every unit is run through VIN decode and the automotive database, stock number overrides let the number on the hang tag match the number in the text message, and promo photos and stock imagery fill in for the units that arrived without pictures. From there the units go wherever you want them: the inventory website builder publishes a site and regenerates it as the floor changes, the embeddable inventory widget drops live inventory into the website you already own, and the vehicle finder lets a rider type what they want in plain words and get the unit that matches.
Brand offer pages give each make you carry a page with offers and a lead form beside them, the dealer page pulls the whole store together, and the Schedule a Visit sheet rises from the bottom of a phone screen the way a rider expects. Every request lands in the portal and in the CRM with the unit attached, so the first reply names the bike.
How does financing work for a motorcycle buyer on the platform?
SecureWebX is the secure credit application system in the platform, and it fits a bike store because the application travels by link. Every dealer gets branded apply links, each one customizable with extra sections, custom fields, document uploads and disclosures, and the salesperson sends the link from the texting inbox or the email composer. The rider completes five steps, personal, residence, employment, income and review, adds a co-applicant when there is one, enters an ITIN where that is the right number, and signs with consent captured against versioned terms. Bot protection guards the public form, and an abandoned application feeds back to the CRM so someone follows up on the rider who stopped at step three.
Inside the dealer console, the application inbox and pipeline show status, assignee, amount and notes. Send to Lender shares an application with any lender you choose as a code gated, expiring, revocable, watermarked link with a lender response portal, which is how a small store works three lenders without three portals. Stipulations get uploaded to fulfill, supporting documents attach to the submission, adverse action notices generate from the application record, OFAC screening runs, and state specific disclosures are yours to add and edit. The credit pull itself runs on your own bureau account, stored in your settings.
Worksheets in SecureWebX carry the same cash, finance and lease pencils as CRM desking, and a pencil built in the CRM can be pushed straight onto the application. When your lender or DMS wants the application in a particular format, SecureWebX exports it in the format it expects. Two factor authentication, encryption at rest and a full audit log sit under all of it, which is what a compliance minded owner wants to hear about an application containing a rider's social security number.
Where do motorcycle leads and marketing come from on the platform?
Start with what you already have. Lead Feeds Manager takes every source your store already pays for, the website form, the listing sites, the manufacturer's inquiries, and pushes each lead into the CRM the instant it arrives, on its own feed with its own Automated Templates. Lead Pages builds a landing page for the spring sale or the demo day in an afternoon, with its own URL, and the free live chat widget on your website turns a browsing rider into a text thread. Every one of those sources carries a tracking phone number, so you see which one the calls came from.
LeadLocate's exclusive lead plans were built around car shoppers, so a motorcycle store starts with the software and grows the lead side through the campaign tooling. Leads Manager is a self service campaign builder with a zone editor, zip stats, a market scan and offers, and our team launches and manages every campaign from the selections your store makes there, in the managed webXintel Ads Network or in your own ad accounts. You pick the zone, the units and the offer; the campaign that goes live is built and run for you. Ask for a campaign shaped around your showroom floor and our team puts it in production for your dealership.
Then keep the riders you already sold. Bulk Texting reaches your whole list for the season opener, with a live do not call lookup and the DNC Blacklist protecting every send. The Referral Program pays real rewards to the customer who brings a friend, and Design Studio prints the referral card they hand out at the meet. How consumers actually behave once they submit a form is covered plainly on the what to expect page, and it applies to riders as much as drivers.
What stays in my DMS and my shop, and where does the platform fit?
Say it plainly, because the wrong answer costs a store months. Your dealer management system keeps the parts counter, the repair orders, the technician time, the warranty claims, accounting, floorplan and title work. The platform is the sales layer that sits beside it: leads, conversations, the deal, the credit application and the online inventory. Where the two meet, SecureWebX exports the application in the format your DMS or lender expects, and Inventory Link reads your feed or your website rather than replacing either. The way your shop books a service job stays entirely your shop's, in the system you already use.
The platform is built so a bike store keeps selling. Your website keeps showing your units, your phones keep ringing because the tracking numbers forward to the ring list you set, and every text, photo, deal page and credit application your team has sent is saved and stays saved. The rider who tapped a deal page still has the PIN, the applications already delivered sit in the console, and the next import and the next inbound lead land in the same inbox your closers watch all day. The numbers are yours, the website is yours, and your shop's DMS stays your shop's DMS. The sales floor keeps selling.
What the platform replaces at a typical bike store is the separate texting app, the spreadsheet desk, the paper credit application scanned to a lender, the third party landing page tool and the habit of texting riders a link to a listing site with three competitors beside your unit. The full list of what is included is on the dealership CRM with online credit applications page, which is the general version of this one.
How does a motorcycle dealer start?
Start with CRM Only, from $199 a month, month to month with no long term contract. It is the whole platform without a lead plan: the CRM, EZ Desking, SecureWebX, Inventory Link, the phone app and the marketing tools. Skip A Month covers the off season that every bike store in a cold state lives with, so the account rests in the weeks when the floor does and comes back for spring without a new setup.
The first week looks like this. Invite your team from User Management with the roles they need, import your contacts, connect a feed or point the importer at your website, and turn on the apply link so every salesperson can text it. Put the live chat widget on the website. Record the voicemail greetings in the browser. Then sell a bike the way you always have, except that the conversation, the pencil, the application and the signature are in one record you can pull up on a phone at the rally next weekend. A specialist walks through all of it on a live account when you ask through the contact page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is LeadLocate a motorcycle dealer management system?
No. It is the sales side: CRM, texting, calling, desking, secure credit applications and online inventory. Your DMS keeps parts, service, repair orders, accounting and title work, and SecureWebX exports the application to your DMS or lender in the format it expects.
Do I need an inventory feed or DMS access to use it for bikes?
No. Connect a feed if your store has one. If not, Inventory Link imports the units from your own dealership website, with twenty eight website platforms recognised, and you can add a unit by hand in the portal the day a trade lands.
Can a salesperson text a rider a specific bike with photos?
Yes. The vehicle button in every text and email composer drops the unit into the message with its photo, model, mileage, stock number and price, sent as MMS with delivery status on the bubble. The same button is on the phone app.
Can we take a credit application on a phone at a show or a rally?
Yes. Text the branded apply link and the rider completes the five step application on their own phone, co-applicant included, signs it there, and the store sees it in the SecureWebX inbox. Two factor authentication and encryption at rest protect the record.
What happens to the subscription in the off season?
Skip A Month lets the account rest for the weeks the floor does, then come back for spring without a new setup. Every plan is month to month with no long term contract, and the pricing page carries the current figures.
Does the desking worksheet actually handle a motorcycle, not just a car?
Yes. The EZ Desking field set is universal across auto, RV, powersports, marine, buy here pay here and fleet, so a bike pencils as cash, finance or lease with the trade, term, rate and the tax rules for your state on one screen.
