LeadLocate Mobile App for iOS and Android
The whole CRM in a salesperson's pocket: the same leads, inbox, calendar, dialer and desking engine as the desk, opened with a PIN or a fingerprint.
What the LeadLocate mobile app is, and who lives in it
The LeadLocate mobile app is the LeadLocate CRM built for a phone: the same leads, texting inbox, email, dialer, calendar, inventory and DealTracker desking a rep uses at the desk, packaged for iOS and Android and opened with a Quick Access PIN or a fingerprint. It is not a notification viewer with a login screen in front of it. Every screen in it does real work.
The app is on the App Store and on Google Play, and it signs in with the same account as the desktop CRM. Whatever a manager sets up at the desk, the custom lead statuses, the tags, the Automated Templates, the shared calendar, the tracking numbers, is exactly what the rep sees on the phone. There is one system behind both screens, not a mobile copy that catches up later.
Four kinds of people run their day in it. Salespeople on the lot, who need to answer a text while walking a customer to the car and log the visit before the customer has left the driveway. BDC agents, who live in the inbox and the call logs and want the next conversation one tap away rather than three menus deep. Managers between tasks, who want to see the Workspace, jump into a Deal Chat, approve a number or answer a rep in Team Chat without walking back to an office. And auto brokers who work from a phone all day, for whom the app is the entire office, which works because an inventory feed and DMS access are not required to run the platform.
It sits alongside the rest of the LeadLocate platform, and our mobile CRM for car sales page covers what separates a working mobile CRM from a read only one. This page is about what is actually in the app.
The bottom dock puts Text, Call, New Lead, Email and Team one tap away
Every screen in the app shares a bottom dock with five items: Text, Call, New Lead, Email and Team. Those are the five things a salesperson does most, so they never move and they never hide behind a menu. Text opens the texting inbox, Call opens the dialer and call logs, New Lead opens a fresh contact form, Email opens the email inbox and Team opens Team Chat. A rep who has never seen the desktop CRM can be productive in the app within a few minutes because the dock is the whole map.
Above the dock, the Workspace is the day. Appointments, reminders and to-dos sit in one list, with snooze for the ones that can wait an hour and bulk clear for the ones that are done. It is the same Workspace the desktop shows, so a to-do a manager assigns at the desk is on the rep's phone the moment it is saved, and a reminder the rep snoozes on the lot is snoozed at the desk too.
Leads is the lead inbox and the lead detail. The detail view saves in realtime as you type, which sounds like a small thing until you have watched a rep lose ten minutes of notes because a call came in and the form was still open. On the phone there is no save button to forget. Type the note, take the call, and the note is already in the record. The lead detail carries the same custom statuses and tags the store configured, so a rep on the lot sees what the desk sees.
Notifications carry sound. A new lead, a reply to a text, an inbound call and a Team Chat mention each announce themselves, and each user chooses which ones they get in their own notification preferences. The point of a mobile CRM is response time, and response time starts with the phone making a noise.

Text with pictures, read email and run Deal Chats from one phone
The texting inbox in the app is the same SMS inbox as the desk, threaded by customer, with every message showing its delivery status on the bubble: sent, delivered or failed. That last word is the one that matters on a lot. A rep knows immediately that a text did not land instead of assuming the customer went quiet.
The composer sends pictures. Snap the trade, the window sticker or the odometer and attach it, or attach several at once. Where the customer's phone supports RCS, the message goes as RCS and falls back to SMS automatically, so nobody has to think about it. Every composer also carries a vehicle button, the inventory insert, which attaches a unit from the store's inventory with its photos and price directly into the text. A customer who asks "what else do you have in white" gets a real vehicle with real pictures, from the lot, in under a minute.
Trackable short links work in the app the same way they do at the desk. Send a link to a personal salesperson website or an apply link and see whether it was opened.
The Email inbox is the store's email, not the rep's personal mailbox, so replies to a lead's email thread show up in the app and are logged against the customer. Deal Chats is a separate inbox for the conversations that happen on a customer's deal page: the customer asks a question on their phone about their numbers, the rep answers from theirs, and the thread stays attached to that deal with link previews and photo drops. Every text, picture, email, call and voicemail lands in the one communications log on the customer, which is what makes a handoff between a salesperson and a manager clean instead of a guessing game.
Take calls, record a greeting and book from the calendar
Call logs in the app show every call on the store's tracking numbers, inbound and outbound, with the recording and transcript where the store has them turned on. A BDC agent can scroll the morning's calls, tap one, read the transcript and text the customer back without leaving the screen.
Outbound calls go through the VoIP dialer, which places the call from the store's number rather than the rep's personal one. The customer sees the dealership on caller ID, the call is logged to the lead, and the rep's own number stays private. For a rep who prefers their handset, the platform can also trigger a call to a physical phone, so the store's number still shows and the call is still logged.
Inbound calls get their own alert screen. When a customer calls a tracking number that rings to the rep, the app shows who is calling with the caller ID name lookup, so the rep answers "Hi, Mr. Alvarez" instead of "Hello?" The voicemail greeting recorder lets each user record their own greeting from the phone, in the app, rather than asking someone at the desk to upload a file.
The Calendar is the store's shared calendar with the rep's own appointments on top, the same one the desk uses with round robin assignment and team availability. Quick Schedule is the mobile shortcut: it mirrors the rep's public booking link, the one from Calendar Settings that customers use to book themselves, so a rep standing with a customer books the test drive into exactly the same slots the customer would see online. No double booking, no separate mobile calendar to reconcile later.
Inventory, desking and the deal jacket travel to the lot
The Inventory list in the app is the store's live inventory. Tap a unit and a detail sheet slides up with the photos, price, mileage, trim and the details a customer asks about in a walkaround. The inventory picker is the same list in chooser form, which is what the vehicle button in the text composer and the Unit field on a deal open when a rep needs to pick a car.
Desking runs on the phone with the DealTracker engine, not a mobile approximation of it. Cash, finance and lease, the state tax matrix, semimonthly frequency, trade credit caps and the lease tax methods all come from the same centralized deal defaults the desk uses, so the payment a rep pulls at the car is the payment the desk would pull. From the deal, the rep can share the customer's deal page, so the shopper leaves with their real numbers on their own phone rather than a photo of a worksheet. The desking tool page goes deeper on the engine.
The deal jacket lives on the deal, and the phone is the fastest way to fill it. Photograph the license, the insurance card, the trade title and the signed forms straight into the jacket, then rename, rotate, preview or delete from the phone. The jacket also has a QR intake path, so a document can be captured by a phone camera and land in the right deal without emailing it to anyone.
VIN lookup reads a VIN from the windshield or door jamb with the camera and decodes it, which is how a trade gets appraised in the lane without anyone typing seventeen characters. The driver license scan captures the customer's license into the customer record, so the name, address and date of birth on the deal are what the license says rather than what somebody typed from memory. Both feed the Customer Profile, the one shared buyer record with co-buyer support and encrypted personal information that the desk and the deal both read from.
Team Chat, files, training and the companion apps under one login
Team is the fifth dock item and it opens Team Chat: channels for the sales floor, the BDC and the managers, direct messages between any two users, reactions, polls, file upload, presence and read receipts. It is included for every user, which means the store's internal conversation stops living in a group text on personal phones where the store has no record of it and a departing rep takes it with them.
The File Library on the phone is the same Files menu as the desk, with folders, secure file sharing that tracks whether a shared file was opened, and QR file share for handing a document to a customer standing in front of you. A brochure, a spec sheet, a blank credit application or the store's finance disclosure can go from the rep's phone to the customer's phone in one scan.
Video Training is in the app too, so a new hire can watch the walkthrough for the texting inbox on their own phone during a slow hour rather than waiting for a seat at a desk. Live Training and Schedule Training from the desktop top bar are where a store books time with our team.
The app is one of three. SecureWebX has its own app for secure credit applications, apply links and the compliance side of a deal, and Inventory Link has its own app, listed in the stores as MyInventory.Link, for the inventory and merchandising side. One login covers all of them and the My LeadLocate account portal, and the CRM app opens the others from the same account, so a rep who takes a credit application on the lot and desks the deal in the CRM app is the same signed in person in both. The all features page lists everything each product includes.
Security on a phone that leaves the building
A phone with the customer list on it walks out of the dealership every night, so the app is built around that fact. Login supports biometric unlock on the handset, and each user has their own Quick Access PIN set in User Management, so getting back into the app after a customer interruption takes a fingerprint or four digits rather than a password typed in a parking lot.
Roles carry over from the desktop. User, Manager and Master Administrator see what their role allows, on the phone exactly as at the desk. The Customer Profile keeps personal information encrypted at rest. The DNC Blacklist, with its live do not call lookup on numbers and its two way inbound spam block, applies to every text and call placed from the app, so a rep on the lot is held to the same rules as a rep at the desk.
Every call, text, picture, email and voicemail from the app is in the communications log with a timestamp, and call recording and transcription apply to app calls the same way. That is the record a manager needs when a customer disputes what was said, and it is the record a store loses entirely when reps work from personal phones.
What keeps working at your store when we are down
Every vendor has outages. The honest question is what a store still has while one is happening, and the answer for the app is worth stating plainly.
A rep's handset is still a phone, and a customer who was given a number still has it. The VoIP dialer and the inbound alert screen are there for logging and caller ID, not the only way a call can happen. Your DMS, your website and your inventory feed are separate systems that the platform reads and never replaces, so nothing about your desk, your accounting or your listings depends on the app being reachable. The platform sits beside those systems, which is exactly why it runs at stores that have no feed and no DMS access at all.
Nothing a rep already entered is at risk, because the lead detail saves in realtime as they type rather than holding a draft in the app until someone presses save. There is no unsaved form to lose. Every text a rep sent before the interruption carries its delivery status on the bubble, so when the app comes back a rep can see at a glance which messages were delivered and which need a second attempt, instead of guessing.
When service returns, the rep opens the app with their PIN or fingerprint and is back on the same Workspace, the same inbox and the same deal. There is no re-sync step, no duplicate records from a mobile cache and no re-entry, because the phone was always a window onto one system rather than a second copy of it.
How to start: the app is included with every plan
The mobile app is part of the platform, not an app tier or an add-on. It comes with CRM Only from $199 a month, with Inbound from $799, with Marketplace Acquisitions from $999 and with the Buyers & Sellers Hybrid Plan from $1,599, all month to month with no long term contract. Current figures and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.
Rollout is short. Install the app from the App Store or Google Play, sign in with the same login as the desktop CRM, set a Quick Access PIN, and turn on the notifications each user wants. Reps who already have the desktop CRM are working from the phone the same afternoon, because there is nothing new to learn beyond where the five dock buttons are.
Two pieces of advice. Get the store's tracking numbers in place before day one, so the first text a rep sends from the app comes from a number the customer can reply to. And set up a few Automated Templates and Follow Up Processes before handing out the app, so the first experience in the composer is a fast, good message rather than a blank box. If you would rather see it before installing anything, the recorded demo walks the phone screens, and our team answers questions at contact us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the LeadLocate mobile app an extra charge?
No. The app is included with every plan, from CRM Only up through the Buyers and Sellers Hybrid Plan. Every user on the account can install it on iOS or Android and sign in with the same login as the desktop CRM.
Can a salesperson desk a deal from the phone?
Yes. DealTracker desking runs in the app with the same engine as the desk: cash, finance and lease, the state tax matrix, semimonthly frequency, trade credit caps and the lease tax methods. The deal jacket, deal chat and the customer's deal page are all reachable from the same deal.
How do reps get back into the app quickly on the lot?
With biometric login on the handset or a Quick Access PIN set per user in User Management. A customer interruption costs a fingerprint or four digits, not a password typed in a parking lot.
Do texts from the app come from the store's number?
Yes. Texts and VoIP calls from the app use the store's tracking numbers, so the customer sees the dealership, the rep's personal number stays private, and every message and call is logged on the lead with its delivery status.
Does the app need an inventory feed or DMS access?
No. An inventory feed and DMS access are not required to run the platform, which is why brokers and individual salespeople use the app as their entire office. If the store has a feed, Inventory Link brings the live units into the Inventory list and the vehicle insert in the composer.
What are the SecureWebX and Inventory Link apps?
Companion apps for the other two products. SecureWebX handles secure credit applications, apply links and compliance; Inventory Link handles inventory and merchandising. One login covers the CRM app, both companions and the My LeadLocate account portal.
