How to Skip a Month in My LeadLocate

A quiet month should never cost your store its CRM, its tracking number or years of customer history. Skip A Month holds all of it for one cycle. Here is the whole request, start to finish.

Skip A Month is a plan on My LeadLocate that holds your store's account through a quiet cycle from $199. Sign in, open My Products & Services to see what is on the account, then ask for the switch through Create Support Request before your renewal date. Your CRM, tracking number and customer history stay exactly where they are.

Step by Step

  1. Sign in to My LeadLocate

Go to your account portal and press Sign In with the email your store used at signup. If the password is on a sticky note in someone else's desk, use the sign in link sent to your email or the code sent to your mobile instead, or press Use a passkey if you set one up. You land on the account dashboard.

  2. Open My Products and Services

Click My Products & Services in the account menu. This is the page that lists the plan your store is on today, every add on attached to it and the date the next cycle starts. Press Show all if the list is collapsed so you can read the whole account in one pass.

  3. Read your renewal date first

Open Invoices and look at the date on the most recent one, then check Transactions for the day the payment cleared. That pair tells you which day of the month your cycle turns. The request to skip has to reach us before that day, because the plan changes on the cycle boundary, not in the middle of one.

  4. Ask for Skip A Month

Click Create Support Request, say which month you want to skip and press Submit Ticket. One sentence is enough: the store name, the month, and whether you want the full plan back automatically after it. If you would rather talk it through with your rep, press Schedule a Call and pick a time.

  5. Confirm the change on the account

Come back to My Products & Services once the request is answered. The plan line reads Skip A Month for the coming cycle and the rate on it is the Skip A Month rate. The ticket stays in your account with the whole exchange on it, so nobody has to remember who agreed to what.

  6. Come back on when the month turns

Tell us the month you want the full plan back, or ask for it in the same ticket when you set the skip up. The plan you were on returns at the next cycle with the same zones, the same numbers and the same users. Nothing gets rebuilt because nothing was taken apart.

Before you start

You need a My LeadLocate login with billing rights, which is normally the account admin or the billing contact your store named at signup, and you need to know the day your cycle renews. If you only hold a CRM user login, your account admin makes the request or adds you to the portal first; Account Settings shows who the admin and the billing contact are.

Know what you are asking for, too. Skip A Month is a plan, starting from $199, and not a checkbox hidden inside the CRM. Your store moves onto it for one cycle and back off it afterward, the same way you would move between any two plans on the pricing page. Because it is a plan, it changes on the cycle boundary, so the request needs to land before the renewal date rather than the week after it.

What you should see

On My Products & Services the plan line reads Skip A Month for the coming cycle, with the date that cycle starts next to it. On the billing page, Invoices shows the next invoice at the Skip A Month rate instead of your usual plan rate, and Transactions records the payment against it when it clears.

Your logins do not change at all. The same email and password open LeadLocate CRM, the mobile app opens the same way on your phone, and every user on the account keeps the role they had. The support ticket you opened stays in your account with the printable history on it, which is the record to point at if anyone asks later what the store agreed to.

What stays with your store while you skip?

Everything your store has built. Every contact, every text thread, every call recording and transcript, every appointment on the calendar, every saved template, every lead page and every note a salesperson typed at nine at night. Your tracking number stays your tracking number, so a customer who calls the number on last month's buyer's order still reaches the store and still lands on the right record.

Your users stay too, with the same permissions, so a manager who comes back from vacation mid cycle signs in and finds the desk exactly as it was. When the full plan turns back on, it turns on over the top of all of it. Nothing is rebuilt, nothing is re imported and no one re keys a customer list, because none of it was ever taken apart. That is the entire point of the plan: a quiet month on the lot costs you a month of spend, never a year of work.

If it did not work

The cycle renewed at the old rate. The request reached us after the renewal date, so it applied to the next cycle instead. Check the date on the newest row under Transactions, then reply on the same ticket and say which cycle you meant. Put a reminder in your own calendar a week before the renewal date so the next one is easy.

You do not see a plan line at all. You are signed in as a CRM user rather than on the account portal, or you are on a second account your group also owns. Check the store name at the top of Account Settings and sign in with the email that owns the subscription.

The ticket has no reply yet. Open Support Requests, find the ticket and read the thread; replies land there and in your email. Press Schedule a Call if you would rather settle it out loud, and your rep works the request with you on the phone.

You actually want to spend less, not skip. Say that in the ticket. Plans, zones and add ons all move, and a rep will walk your account with you and put the store on the shape that fits the quarter. Anything your store needs that is not on the shelf today is available on request, and our team puts it in production for your dealership.

Related tasks

The My LeadLocate page covers the rest of the portal: invoices and receipts, the payment method on the account, service credits, the file library and which users can launch which products. The LeadLocate Help Center has the short guides for turning automatic renewal off, updating the payment method on the account and pulling a receipt for your office manager.

If the month you are skipping is quiet because the store is between marketing pushes rather than between seasons, look at what the platform already carries before you skip. The CRM, the texting, the calendar and the website tools are in the plan you are already paying for, and most stores find a cycle's worth of work in the contacts they already own.

Tips from the floor

Ask early. A request sent two weeks ahead of the renewal date is a two minute exchange; one sent the morning after is a conversation about next cycle. Name the month in the ticket instead of writing next month, because the person reading it may open it on the first. Say in the same sentence whether you want the full plan back automatically, and you will not have to think about it again. And use the quiet cycle: the contacts, the trade in offers and the unsold showroom traffic your store already has are still sitting in the CRM, and working them is free.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I lose my leads and customer history if I skip a month?

No. Every contact, text thread, call recording, appointment and note stays on the account exactly as it is, and your tracking number stays yours. The full plan turns back on over the top of all of it.

How much is Skip A Month?

It starts at $199, the same floor as the CRM Only plan. The current rate for your store's shape sits on the pricing page, and your rep confirms it on the ticket before anything changes.

How late can I ask to skip a month?

Before your renewal date. The plan changes on the cycle boundary, so a request that arrives after the cycle has turned applies to the following one. Check the newest row under Transactions if you are not sure which day that is.

How do I come back to my full plan?

Say so in the ticket, either when you set the skip up or any time before the next cycle. Your old plan returns with the same zones, numbers and users, and there is nothing to set up again.
