How to Set up Brand Pages in Inventory Link
Every make you carry gets a page with the current offers on it and a lead form beside them. Here is how to get yours right and where to send the traffic once they are.
Step by Step
Get the inventory into the portal
The platform decides which brand pages to build from the makes in your inventory, so connect a provider feed, run the import that reads your own dealership website, or add units by hand. A broker with no lot switches on auto broker inventory mode and gets the pages connected anyway.
Fill in Profile
Open Profile in the dealer portal and enter the store name, the phone number a customer should call, the hours, the address and your website. Every brand page, hero page and the dealer page pull from there, so this is the one place where a wrong number costs you a week of calls.
Open the brand chooser and pick a make
Use Pick your brand to open the page for one of your makes. Do this for every franchise you carry, one at a time, and keep the links as you go; those are what your advertising, your email signature and your text messages will point at.
Read each page the way a shopper would
On a phone, from the top. The current offers should be there in the right card shapes, the lead form should sit beside them, the inventory under them should be cars you actually have, and the Schedule a Visit sheet should rise from the bottom of the screen when you tap a vehicle.
Point your advertising at the right page
Send a campaign for one make to that make brand hero page rather than to your home page, because a shopper who clicked an offer should land on the offer. Use the dealer page as your everywhere link, the one on the business card and in the signature.
Watch what comes back
Requests land in the dealer portal under Requests and in the CRM as leads with the vehicle attached. The leads list pages through them with Page of, so after a campaign you can walk the whole run and see which make and which offer actually produced names.
Before you start
Brand pages are built for you, so setting them up is mostly a matter of telling the platform who you are and what you sell. Two inputs do that. The first is your inventory, because Inventory Link works out which makes you carry from the vehicles in the portal. Connect a provider feed under Feeds, run the import that reads the cars off your own dealership website, or add units by hand. A broker with no lot switches on auto broker inventory mode and gets brand offer pages connected without a vehicle to their name. An inventory feed and DMS access are not required.
The second is Profile in the dealer portal: the store name, the phone number, the hours, the address and your website. Every brand page and the dealer page draw from there, so one correct entry puts the right number under every offer. The portal opens from the My Inventory button on the dock at the bottom of LeadLocate CRM with single sign on.
Know the difference between the two page types before you look at them. The brand page is the standing page for a make, with the offers and the inventory under them. The brand hero page is the one you point advertising at, built to land a shopper on a single make with a single reason to raise their hand.
What you should see on each page
A page for every make on your lot, with the manufacturer's current programs on it in cards built for the kind of offer each one is, so a lease reads as a lease, a rate reads as a rate and customer cash reads as cash. Six card formats cover the shapes an offer comes in, and every form on the page lands on one shared confirmation, so a shopper always knows their message went somewhere.
Under the offers sit the vehicles from your inventory that the offer applies to, each with photos, the decoded build, the mileage and the price. Every vehicle carries a Schedule a Visit sheet, and on a phone that sheet rises from the bottom of the screen instead of shoving the page out of the way.
The dealer page gathers the whole store in one place: your makes, your offers, your inventory and the vehicle finder, under your name and your phone number from Profile. That is the link to put on a business card, in an email signature and at the end of a text.

Where the leads from a brand page go
Every offer form and every visit request from a brand page arrives in the dealer portal under Requests and in LeadLocate CRM as a lead carrying the vehicle or the offer the shopper was looking at. The leads list in the portal shows them in order with Page of at the bottom, so you can walk back through a week of them after a campaign and see what the pages actually produced.
These are inbound, opt in leads: a shopper chose an offer, typed their own contact details and asked you to get in touch. Answer them the way you would answer a customer standing on the lot, with the vehicle in the reply, and set the appointment in the same conversation. The what to expect from car sales leads page is worth reading with a new salesperson before they start working them.
What these pages do for search
A page per make, carrying real inventory with decoded trims and real prices, is also the shape of page that search engines and answer engines can read and quote. A shopper searching for a make and a town is asking a question that a brand page at your store answers directly, which is more than a generic home page can do.
The same logic applies further down, on the vehicle pages themselves. Our SEO for used car inventory pages guide covers what makes an inventory page worth finding, and the pages the platform builds follow it: one unit per page, the decoded build, the mileage, the price, real photos and a way to ask about it without leaving.
If it did not work
A make you carry has no page. The pages come from the makes in your inventory, so the units for that franchise have not reached the portal yet. Open the inventory list, and if that make is missing, check the feed or the website import before anything else.
A page opens on This page is not available. You are on a link for a make your store does not carry, or on an address that changed. Go back to the brand chooser, use Pick your brand to get the current link, and update whatever you pasted the old one into.
The phone number or hours are wrong. They come from Profile in the dealer portal, not from the page. Fix them once in Profile and every brand page, hero page and dealer page picks the change up.
The offers are there but no cars are under them. The matching inventory setting in Builder is off, or those units are not in the portal. Turn it on and confirm the vehicles are there, because an offer with no car under it sends a ready shopper to another store to find one.
Leads are arriving but nobody is reacting. Set your notification preferences in the CRM so a new request reaches a phone, and put the pages on a routing rule so the lead lands on a person rather than in a pile.
Related tasks
The product page for this is brand offer pages, which covers the six offer card formats, the shared confirmation and the dealer page in more detail. The offers themselves come from the incentives engine, covered on the OEM Incentives Showroom page, and the same programs appear on the unit at the desk.
The rest of the setup has its own guides in the LeadLocate Help Center: showing the manufacturer offers, publishing an inventory site, embedding the widget on the site you already run, and handling the Schedule a Visit request when a shopper picks a time. If you want a page presented differently from the automatic build, or an offer shape the six card formats do not cover, that is available on request, and our team puts it in production for your dealership.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to build a brand page for each make myself?
No. The platform builds a page for every make in your inventory and a dealer page for the store. Your part is keeping the inventory current and the store details in Profile correct, then reviewing each page and pointing traffic at it.
What is the difference between a brand page and a brand hero page?
The brand page is the standing page for a make, with the offers and the inventory under them. The brand hero page is built to be landed on from an advertisement, focused on one make and one reason to raise a hand.
Can a broker with no lot use brand pages?
Yes. Auto broker inventory mode connects the brand offer pages for a broker who does not stock vehicles, so the offers and the forms work from day one.
Where do the offers on the page come from?
From the incentives engine inside Inventory Link, which carries manufacturer programs for more than twenty makes. The same programs show on the unit in the deal view, so the page and the desk quote the same thing.
A page for every make you sell, built for you
Brand pages carry the current manufacturer offers with a lead form beside them and your real inventory under them. See them in the pre-recorded demo or start month to month.
