Auto Broker Inventory Mode: Sell Without a Lot
No lot, no feed, no DMS. Switch on auto broker inventory mode and a broker gets brand offer pages for the makes they sell, connected instantly, with the manufacturer's programs and a lead form on each.
What auto broker inventory mode does
Auto broker inventory mode gives a broker with no lot, no feed and no DMS a set of brand offer pages connected instantly, so the broker advertises what they can get rather than what they are holding. That is the feature. Every other inventory product treats an empty lot as a reason to say no, because everything they do starts with a feed. Inventory Link starts with the makes you sell, and for a broker that is the only inventory that matters.
Switch the mode on and the platform builds a brand page and a brand hero page for each make, carrying the manufacturer's current programs from the OEM incentives engine, which covers more than twenty makes, with a lead form beside each offer in one of six card formats and a Schedule a Visit sheet on the page. A dealer page pulls it together under the broker's name. A shopper who wants that make sees a real offer and a real way to raise their hand, and the request lands in the CRM with the offer and the vehicle attached.
It is part of the platform subscription rather than a broker package with its own price. The plans a broker starts on are the same month to month plans a franchise store uses, because the software is the same software.
How a broker uses it on a normal day
A broker works out of a home office, sells four makes, and has a phone full of clients who call when they are ready for the next car. She has no lot and never will. Her brand pages carry this month's lease and finance programs on all four makes, and her advertising points at the hero page for the make with the best program. She did not build the pages and does not update them; the mode built them when she switched it on and the engine carries the offers.
Tuesday night a shopper lands on one of them from an ad, reads the lease card, and submits the form. Wednesday morning the lead is in her CRM with the offer and the vehicle attached. She texts back with the vehicle card, the program as the manufacturer wrote it, and a question about color and timing. He wants a specific configuration. She sources it the way brokers do, and when she has a unit, she adds it under Add a vehicle in the dealer portal, the VIN decode fills in the trim and specifications, stock imagery covers it until she has photos, and she sends it to him as a card from the composer.
He wants to apply. She texts a SecureWebX apply link from the same conversation, he completes the credit application on his phone, and she works it from the console. When the unit needs to move from where it is to where he is, the directory of transport carriers and service providers in Inventory Link gives her a list to call. She sold a car she never parked. That is the day, and the only part of it that is different from a dealership is the lot.

Where broker mode lives: the portal, the CRM and the phone
Auto broker inventory mode is a setting in the Inventory Link dealer portal, and the pages it connects are the public brand pages, brand hero pages and dealer page the platform publishes for the account. The broker's identity, phone number and hours on those pages come from Profile in the portal. Units the broker sources are added under Add a vehicle and managed under Edit vehicle and photos, and the inventory list holds whatever is in hand at the moment.
The portal opens from the My Inventory button in the dock at the bottom of the LeadLocate CRM, with single sign on, and the Inventory item in the CRM main menu shows the same units. Every lead from a brand page lands in the CRM lead inbox with the offer and vehicle attached, and the vehicle insert button in every text and email composer drops a sourced unit into a message as a card. The brand offer pages page describes the pages themselves in detail.
On the phone, which is where most brokers actually work, the LeadLocate app carries the lead inbox, the SMS inbox and composer, the inventory list with a detail sheet, the VIN lookup, the driver license scanner, Quick Schedule and the deal tracker desking view. A broker can run the whole day from the app. The dealer portal is in the app stores under the listing name MyInventory.Link.
What broker mode replaces, and what a broker pays elsewhere
A broker looking for software usually finds two kinds. Dealer inventory tools that will not start without a feed, and generic CRMs that know nothing about vehicles, offers or credit applications. Most brokers end up with a website builder for a page with a contact form, a spreadsheet for clients, a marketplace link for anything they want to show a customer, and a fax number for the credit application. Each piece is a separate bill and none of them know about each other.
Broker mode replaces the website page with brand offer pages that carry the manufacturer's programs, the spreadsheet with a CRM built for automotive, the marketplace link with a vehicle card that shows only the broker's unit, and the fax number with a SecureWebX apply link. How a broker finds clients in the first place, with exclusive local buyer inquiries, is on our auto broker lead generation page; this page is the product side of running the book once the clients are there.
The cost is a plan. Broker mode is part of the platform subscription, month to month, and the pricing page lists the plans, from CRM Only for a broker with their own client flow to the plans that add exclusive local leads.
The compliance angle: advertise the program, describe the car, log the contact
A broker advertising a manufacturer's program has the same obligation a dealership has: quote it as written, with its terms, and do not let it go stale. Brand offer pages carry the programs from the incentives engine and present each in a card built for its type, so a lease special is never dressed up as a purchase price and last month's offer is not sitting on a page nobody maintains.
When a unit is in hand, it is described from the VIN decode and the vehicle database, so the trim and equipment a client is told about are the ones the VIN encodes. Every lead is inbound and opt-in, a shopper who chose an offer and asked to be contacted, and the CRM keeps every call, text and email on that client in one communications log. The credit application runs through SecureWebX with e-signature and consent capture against versioned terms, and the broker's lender relationships and bureau account stay the broker's. What the broker is licensed to do, and how they source the unit, is the broker's business; the platform is the office it runs from.
How to turn auto broker inventory mode on
Sign up on a plan, tell us you are a broker, and switch on auto broker inventory mode in the Inventory Link dealer portal. The brand offer pages for the makes you sell are connected instantly. Fill in Profile so the pages carry your name, number and hours, and point your advertising at the hero page for the make you want to push. An inventory feed and DMS access are not required at any step; the mode exists precisely because a broker has neither.
When you source a unit, add it under Add a vehicle and it is decoded, pictured and ready to send. If you sell a make outside the twenty plus the engine covers, or want a page built for a specific kind of client, that is available on request, our team puts it in production for your dealership. To see it before you decide, the pre-recorded live demo shows a brand page, an offer lead landing in the CRM and an apply link going out by text, and the contact page reaches a person who will switch it on for your makes.
What to pair broker mode with
Broker mode gives you the pages; the rest of the platform gives you the office. Pair it with the OEM Incentives Showroom in the deal view, so the program on the page is the program in the pencil, and with the desking tool and the pencil recap sheets for the number you send the client. Pair it with SecureWebX apply links for the credit application, which runs without a DMS or a feed and comes back to a console you work from anywhere.
Pair it with the vehicle insert button and stock photos for listings, so a sourced unit goes out as a proper card the same hour it is added, and with the shared team calendar and Schedule a Visit for the delivery appointment. Brokers who work a personal brand pair it with a salesperson website from the builder's template, under their own name. And when a unit has to move, the directory of transport carriers and service providers is in the portal. The all features page lists everything else.
What keeps working when we are down
Plainly: a broker's business is the phone and the relationships, and both are the broker's. If our side is unreachable for an hour, the clients already in the CRM are still your clients, the vehicle cards already sent are in their hands, the apply links already completed are in the SecureWebX console when it returns, and the deals already penciled are on paper. Your phone number is yours and keeps ringing.
When service returns, the brand pages carry the current programs again and the next lead lands the same way. Nothing about how a broker sells a car has been moved onto our servers as a single point of failure.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have no inventory feed and no lot. Can I really use inventory software?
Yes. That is what auto broker inventory mode is for. Switch it on and you get brand offer pages for the makes you sell, connected instantly, with the manufacturer's programs and a lead form on each. An inventory feed and DMS access are not required.
What do my brand pages show if I hold no vehicles?
The manufacturer's current programs for each make, from the OEM incentives engine that covers more than twenty makes, in six offer card formats with a lead form beside each and a Schedule a Visit sheet. You advertise what you can get, and a shopper raises their hand on the offer.
What happens when I source a specific unit for a client?
Add it under Add a vehicle in the dealer portal. The VIN decode fills in the trim and specifications, stock imagery covers it until you have photos, and the vehicle insert button in the CRM composer sends it to the client as a card with the photo and price.
How does a broker take a credit application?
Text a SecureWebX apply link from the CRM conversation. The client completes the five step application on their phone, and you work it from the SecureWebX console. Your lender relationships and bureau account stay yours.
Does the platform find me clients too?
That is a separate part of the platform. The lead plans deliver exclusive local buyer inquiries in your zone; the auto broker lead generation page explains how that works. Broker mode is the software you run the book with, on any plan.
Is broker mode a separate price?
No. It is part of the LeadLocate platform subscription, month to month. The pricing page lists the plans, from CRM Only for a broker with their own client flow to the plans that add exclusive local leads.
