How to Launch Your Apps from My LeadLocate in My LeadLocate

One login, one page, every application your store pays for. Here is how to open the CRM, Inventory Link and SecureWebX from your account portal, and how to decide who else can.

Sign in to My LeadLocate and the applications your store holds are listed on the launch page. Click one and it opens already signed in, so LeadLocate CRM, Inventory Link and SecureWebX all open from the same place. User Access controls which of your people can launch which application.

Step by Step

  1. Sign in to My LeadLocate

Go to your account portal and press Sign In with your work email. If you would rather not type a password, ask for the sign in link sent to your email or the code sent to your mobile, or press Use a passkey if you set one up on this login. Either way you land on the account dashboard.

  2. Read the dashboard first

Account Snapshot at the top tells you what the store has: the plan, the applications on the account and anything that needs attention. It takes five seconds and it saves you looking for an application your store has not added yet.

  3. Open the launch page and click an application

The launch page lists the applications your store holds. Click the one you want and it opens already signed in, in its own window. No second password, no second set of users to keep straight, and no waiting while somebody finds the right link in an old email.

  4. Check what is on the account

If an application you expected is not on the launch page, open My Products & Services. That page lists the plan and every add on attached to it, so you can see in one look whether the store holds the application or whether it is something to add.

  5. Set who can launch what

Open User Access to see every person on your account and which applications each one can open. Press Add a User to bring someone new in, give them only the applications their job needs, and their access starts the moment they accept. Taking an application away from someone is the same page and the same two clicks.

  6. Sign in once across the products

Open My SSO Profile to see how your single sign on identity is set for the account. One identity is what lets a manager move from the CRM to the website tools to the file library without stopping at a login screen in between.

  7. Do the same thing from your phone

On a phone, install the LeadLocate mobile app and sign in with the same email. The applications your store holds show up the same way, and a salesperson standing in the lane opens the CRM on the phone with the credentials they already use at the desk.

Before you start

You need your work email and a login on My LeadLocate. Every person at the store gets one, from the dealer principal to the newest salesperson, and what it opens is set by the access your account admin gives it rather than by having a separate account per product.

You do not need to install anything on a desktop or a laptop. The applications open in a browser, on whatever machine the person is sitting at, which is why a manager can cover the desk from home on a Saturday without a technician being involved. The one install worth doing is the mobile app on the phones, because a phone in a lane is a different job from a screen at a desk.

Which applications launch from here?

The ones your store holds. LeadLocate CRM is the desk: leads, texting, calling, the calendar, credit applications, desking and reporting. Inventory Link is the inventory side: your live vehicle data, the listing pages and the widgets that put your units in front of shoppers. SecureWebX is the secure document and file side, for the paperwork a deal produces and the files a customer or a lender needs to receive safely.

Each one is its own application under one login, which is what makes the launch page useful rather than decorative. Your store adds what it needs, your people open what they are allowed to open, and the list on the page is always the truth about what the account holds today. Anything your store wants on that list that is not there is available on request, and our team puts it in production for your dealership.

What you should see

A dashboard with Account Snapshot at the top, and a launch page listing the applications on the account. Clicking one opens it signed in, with your name already on it and your permissions already applied, so a salesperson lands in their own pipeline and a manager lands in the whole store's.

On User Access you should see every person on the account with the applications each one can open beside their name. That page is worth reading once a quarter. A store that keeps it current keeps its customer list where it belongs, and a store that never opens it eventually has a former employee on the list. Adding someone with Add a User takes a name, an email and a mobile number, and removing an application from someone takes less than that.

If it did not work

The sign in link expired. These links are deliberately short lived. Press Request a new link and a fresh one arrives, or sign in with your password instead.

An application you expected is missing. Either it is not on the account, which My Products & Services will tell you, or your login has not been given it, which User Access will. Ask your account admin, and if the store wants to add it, the products page is where it starts.

It opens and asks you to sign in again. Your browser is blocking the window or a second profile is signed in as somebody else. Allow the window, or open a clean browser profile and sign in once.

A new hire cannot get in. Check the email on User Access character for character; a typo in an email address is the most common reason an invitation never arrives. Re send it from the same page.

Somebody is stuck and you are on the phone with them. Ask your rep to join. Our support team can see your screen with you and fix it on the call rather than trading screenshots for an afternoon.

Related tasks

The My LeadLocate page covers the rest of the portal: invoices and receipts, the payment method on the account, service credits, add ons, the file library and support tickets. The LeadLocate Help Center has the guides for adding users and roles, setting up your profile and getting the mobile app onto a phone.

If you are new to the account and want to see how the applications fit together before you hand logins out, the platform page walks the whole product line in order, and your rep will walk it with your managers on a call.

Tips from the floor

Bookmark the account portal, not the individual applications, and every person at the store has one link to remember. Give a new hire access on their first morning and take it back on their last, both from the same page. Give your controller a billing login and nothing else, and give your salespeople the CRM and nothing else; access that matches the job is the easiest security a store ever gets. And put the mobile app on the phones during the meeting where you announce it, because the salespeople who install it that week are the ones who use it in month two.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a separate login for each LeadLocate product?

No. One login opens the account portal, and the applications your store holds launch from there already signed in. Each product is its own application under one login.

Which applications can I launch from My LeadLocate?

The ones on your account. For most stores that is LeadLocate CRM for the desk, Inventory Link for the vehicle data and listing pages, and SecureWebX for secure files and documents.

How do I give a new salesperson access?

Open User Access, press Add a User, enter their name, work email and mobile number, and give them only the applications their job needs. Their access starts as soon as they accept.

Can I open the same applications on my phone?

Yes. Install the LeadLocate mobile app and sign in with the same email you use on the desktop. A salesperson in the lane works the same records as the desk does.
