LeadLocate for Dealership Marketing Directors

Every lead source gets its own feed and tracking number, every landing page and email goes out under your own domain, and the report that says which source sold a car is built from the CRM's own log rather than a spreadsheet.

For a dealership marketing director, LeadLocate is the CRM where attribution starts: a Lead Feeds Manager feed and a tracking phone number per source, Leads Manager for self service lead campaigns by zone, the webXintel Ads Network managed by our team, Lead Pages for landing pages on your own domain, visitor analytics, authenticated email, and a Reports dashboard that ties leads to sources. Month to month, no long term contract.

What numbers is a marketing director judged on, and where do they come from?

Cost per lead by source, cost per appointment, cost per sold unit, and the answer to the dealer principal's only question: which of these bills is selling cars. Under those sit the working numbers, lead volume by source, website traffic and what it does, email deliverability, and whether the landing page for the weekend event loaded on a phone. A marketing director rarely lacks data. What is missing is the link between the source that produced a lead and the deal that closed three weeks later, because the source lives in one vendor's dashboard and the deal lives in the CRM.

LeadLocate puts them in the same place. The LeadLocate CRM is where every source is a feed with a tracking number, where the landing pages are built and hosted, where the email goes out and where the report is read. This page walks a marketing director's week through those tools in the order they get used, using the names on screen, then covers what the general manager sees, and how to start.

What is the first screen a marketing director opens?

Lead Feeds Manager, under Billing and Admin. Every source the store pays for or owns gets a feed: each website form, each third party provider, the chat widget, each landing page, and the exclusive buyer and seller leads LeadLocate delivers on the plan. A feed carries a label the team recognizes on a lead row, the assignment rule, and its own intake route, a Lead Email address for providers that send by email, a hosted lead form at its own URL, or a webhook. Instant push puts the lead in the CRM the moment it arrives. The Lead Feeds Manager page explains the four ways a lead can enter a feed.

Next to it, a tracking phone number per source. Each number is provisioned inside the CRM, syncs to SecureWebX, and records inbound calls against the source that produced them, so the radio spot and the third party listing each have a number nobody else prints. Inbound calls show a caller ID name lookup, and call recording with a transcript sits on the lead. The tracking phone numbers page covers provisioning. Between the feed and the number, every lead in the store carries its origin from the first second, which is the foundation every later report stands on.

How does a marketing director run lead campaigns without a separate agency?

Two ways, both from inside the CRM. Leads Manager is the self service campaign builder: a zone editor to draw the market, zip stats and a market scan to size it, and offers to attach. A marketing director builds the campaign from the store's own selections and the Leads Manager page walks through each screen. The campaigns run through the webXintel Ads Network, the managed network our team operates from the store's selections in Leads Manager. Our team launches and manages every campaign from the selections the store makes in Leads Manager, so a marketing director owns the market, the zone and the offer while the campaign itself is built, launched and tuned for the store, and the webXintel Ads Network page lays out the managed side.

A store that already runs its own ad accounts can connect them instead, with the tokens encrypted at rest and an append only audit log of every action, and the connect your own ad accounts page describes that path. Two things are worth knowing up front. Leads from a campaign arrive in the CRM through Lead Feeds Manager with the campaign stamped on the record as their source, so the Friday report reads them beside the website and the phone without anyone tagging a record by hand. And financing campaigns are built to fair lending standards, which means the audience is never narrowed by age, gender, income, marital status, household size, education, language or ZIP; that discipline is designed into the campaign from the first screen, so a store advertising credit offers advertises them the way the rules intend and the whole campaign stands up to a look from counsel.

Where do the landing pages and the website live?

Under the Website menu. Lead Pages is the landing page builder inside the CRM, with per page URL settings, and every page it publishes is also a feed, so a weekend event page creates leads with the event as their source without a form integration. The Lead Pages page covers the builder. Domains are searched, purchased and transferred out from the same menu, with a self service DNS editor, so a campaign domain goes live without a ticket to a web developer, and the custom domains page shows the editor. The website editor tabs, Business Info, Branding, Menu Links, Social Media, Inventory and Analytics, keep the store's identity consistent across every page the CRM publishes.

Inventory merchandising is Inventory Link. The inventory website builder builds and publishes an inventory site from the feed, or from units imported from the store's own website when there is no feed, with a regenerate control for price changes. The embeddable inventory widget drops live units onto any page. Brand offer pages carry the OEM programs for more than twenty makes in six offer card formats, with lead forms and Schedule a Visit on each, and the brand offer pages page shows the formats. A free live chat widget for the dealer site is on the same menu.

How does a marketing director read website traffic without a separate analytics account?

Visitor analytics are inside the CRM: overview, realtime, sessions, geography, devices, sources, search, top pages, session detail and performance, for the pages the CRM publishes. A marketing director watching the Saturday event page can see sessions arrive in realtime, which device they arrived on and which source sent them, and the visitor analytics page lists every view. These are aggregate analytics about visits, and they answer the question a marketing director actually has on Monday morning: which page, which device and which source produced the sessions that turned into leads.

Trackable short links close the loop on outbound. Every text campaign can carry a short link with click stats, so a marketing director knows not only that four hundred messages were delivered but how many people tapped the offer, and the trackable short links page covers the stats. Together with the tracking numbers, that gives a source, a visit, a click and a call on every campaign without a tag manager.

How does the store's email and texting go out under the store's own name?

Email domain authentication sends every message from the store's own domain rather than a shared one, which is the single largest factor in whether a campaign lands in the inbox, and the email domain authentication page walks through the setup once. Bulk Email under Marketing Tools on the dock manages recipient lists, Email Automation runs the drips, and the Email Validator cleans a list before it goes out, with results shown as validity dots on each contact. The Phone Validator does the same for numbers.

Bulk Texting sends to a recipient list with delivery status on every message, and the compliance controls are inside the tool rather than beside it: the DNC Blacklist blocks a number in both directions, imports the list the store already keeps, and runs a live do not call lookup on a number, so a text campaign is checked against it before it goes out. Texting Chatbots handle the replies a campaign generates, and Text Automation triggers messages from lead activity. Every send lands in the communications log on the lead, which is the record a marketing director wants when a customer asks why they were contacted. The bulk texting page covers the campaign side and the DNC scrub page the compliance side.

What does a marketing director make in Design Studio and the Referral Program?

The print and the word of mouth. Design Studio, on the dock, makes business cards, referral cards, NFC cards, vCards and floating buttons for the website from a stock media library with print ready output, so the event flyer and the referral card match the landing page without an agency round trip. The Referral Program is a standalone page with referral campaigns, a shared referral code per customer and a real gift card style reward when a referred buyer closes, and the referral program page covers the mechanics. Because referrals are a feed like any other source, they show up in the same report as the paid sources, which is usually the moment a marketing director notices they are the cheapest lead the store has.

What report does a marketing director read on Friday, and what does the general manager see?

The Reports dashboard on the dock, company reporting view: leads in by feed, the status each reached, appointments set and shown, and the lost reason a rep picked when a lead died, all by source. Because every lead carried its feed and its tracking number from intake, the report needs nobody to tag anything by hand. The reports dashboard page explains the three modules. A source whose leads mostly stall at contacted is a different problem from a source whose leads reach the desk and lose on price, and the lost reason column tells them apart.

One thing to know before reading a lead report at LeadLocate. Every submitted lead in the store's zone is delivered, exclusively, with the answers to the prescreening questions asked at capture. The report shows every one of them with the prescreening answers attached, which is what makes it a read on the whole market the campaign reached rather than a trimmed sample of it. The what to expect page explains how in market shoppers behave once they raise a hand, and a lead that turns out wrong goes to post delivery replacement review through a Quality Control Request, so it costs the store nothing. The general manager sees the same dashboard, plus management reporting, and the same deal the desk penciled, so the question of whether marketing's leads sold is answered from one log rather than two dashboards that disagree.

How does a marketing director start?

With the sources. Open Lead Feeds Manager and give every source its own feed, then provision a tracking number for each one that prints a phone number anywhere. Authenticate the store's email domain. Build the first Lead Page for whatever is running this month and let it be its own feed. Point Inventory Link at the feed or the website. Then open Reports at the end of the first month and read leads by source for the first time. Every plan is month to month; CRM Only starts at $199 per month for a store that brings its own sources, plans that deliver exclusive buyer or seller leads in your zone start higher, and the pricing page lists them. The solutions hub has the pages for the internet director and BDC manager who work the leads you bring in, the recorded demo shows the screens first, and the contact page reaches a person who sets it up with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see which lead source sold a car?

Yes. Every lead carries its feed from Lead Feeds Manager and, for calls, its tracking phone number, and the deal desked on that lead lives on the same record. The Reports dashboard's company reporting shows leads by feed, the status each reached, appointments, and lost reasons by source.

Do I run the ad campaigns myself?

You build the campaign in Leads Manager from your own selections, zone, zip stats, market scan and offers, and our team runs it through the webXintel Ads Network. Our team launches and manages it from there, and a store that connects its own ad accounts gets the same handling inside those accounts, so the campaign is live and managed for you while you stay on the market and the offer.

Can I connect the store's own ad accounts?

Yes. A dealership can connect its own ad accounts to the CRM, with tokens encrypted at rest and an append only audit log of every action, and campaigns route through those accounts instead of the managed network. The connect your own ad accounts page describes the path.

Does LeadLocate identify anonymous website visitors?

No. Visitor analytics inside the CRM are aggregate: overview, realtime, sessions, geography, devices, sources, search, top pages, session detail and performance. They show what visits did, not who an anonymous visitor is.

Can I narrow a financing campaign's audience?

Financing campaigns run under fair lending rules that forbid narrowing an audience by age, gender, income, marital status, household size, education, language or ZIP. Our team applies those rules to every financing campaign, and a request for a tighter financing audience is one the rules do not allow.

Do I need a separate landing page builder, analytics tool or email service?

No. Lead Pages, custom domains with DNS, visitor analytics, email domain authentication, Bulk Email, Bulk Texting, the validators and Design Studio are all inside the CRM on one month to month plan. The all features page lists every module.
