Lead Pages: The Landing Page Builder Inside the CRM

A landing page that lives outside your CRM produces an email. A landing page that lives inside it produces a lead with an owner, a source and a first text already queued.

Lead Pages is the landing page builder inside LeadLocate CRM. From the Website menu, a store creates a page from the Lead Page Manager, sets its title, logo, lead forms and footer, picks a domain and URL settings, and publishes. Every submission arrives in the lead inbox with its source attached, ready for round robin assignment and the Automated Templates that fire on new leads. Included in every plan.

What Lead Pages does in one sentence, and why it lives in the CRM

Lead Pages is the landing page builder inside LeadLocate CRM: a store builds a page with a headline, a logo, up to three lead forms and a footer, chooses the domain it publishes on, and every form submission becomes a lead in the CRM inbox with its source already attached. That last clause is the reason the builder is in the CRM rather than beside it. A landing page built in a standalone tool ends its job by sending an email or a webhook. A page built in Lead Pages ends its job by creating a lead that has an owner, a feed, a status and an automated first response, because the same system that rendered the page is the one that receives the form.

The pages are built for the way a dealership actually markets: a sales event with a two week life, a single model that needs its own page for an ad, a tax season offer, a credit rebuilding page, a specific salesperson's page for their business card. Each of those is a page, each page has its own URL settings, and each page's leads are labeled by that page. The dealership CRM with built-in lead generation page covers what it means to have lead sources and a CRM on one bill; this page is the builder itself.

How a store uses it on a normal week

Monday morning the sales manager decides to run a used truck event for the last ten days of the month. She opens the Website menu, goes to the Lead Page Manager and clicks Create New Page. She gives it a page title, drops in the company logo, writes the contact text and the footer, and turns on Lead Form 1 for the main offer. In Page Details she sets the pop-up labels that appear on the page and picks which inventory categories show, in this case trucks and SUVs. In Lead Page Manager URL Settings she chooses a domain from the store's list and sets the page's address. She duplicates the page, changes the headline, and now has a second version for a different ad.

By Monday afternoon the page URL is on the ad in Leads Manager, on the store's social posts and on a trackable short link in a bulk text to past customers. Tuesday the first submissions land in the lead inbox tagged with the page as their source. Round robin assignment hands each one to the next salesperson. The Automated Templates set for that feed send the first text within the minute and drop a task on the rep's Workspace. On Friday she opens the analytics on the Website menu and sees which page drew traffic, which one converted, and which salesperson is behind on responses.

Nothing in that week involved a web developer, a ticket to a website vendor, or a spreadsheet of leads exported from somewhere. The page, the leads and the follow up are one motion.

Where it lives: the Website menu, Lead Page Manager and Page Details

Lead Pages sits under the Website item in the main menu of LeadLocate CRM, alongside the website editor. The Lead Page Manager lists every page with its page ID, title and domain, with Edit and Duplicate on each row. Page Details holds the content: company logo, contact us text, footer text, Lead Forms one through three, three iFrame form slots for a form a store already has elsewhere, pop-up labels, inventory categories, a screen tracking code field and a live chat code field so the store's free live chat widget can run on the page.

The Lead Page URL Setting screen is where the page gets its address. A store picks a domain from those available to it, which includes the domains the store has purchased through the CRM, and can set a Forward URL Destination for a page that should send visitors on somewhere else. The custom domains and DNS page explains how a store buys and points its own domain without a developer.

Every user with the right role can build pages, which is how personal salesperson websites come to exist: a rep's own page, with their own form, feeding leads to their own inbox. The salesperson landing page templates page walks through what those pages should say.

What it replaces, and what a landing page builder costs elsewhere

The standalone landing page builders most dealers have tried charge a monthly fee per account, sometimes per page, and then charge again for the automation tool that moves the form submission into the CRM. Three products, three logins, three bills, and the lead still arrives without a source attached, so the attribution report at month end says "website" for everything. The lead source attribution page explains why that one word costs stores real money.

Lead Pages is part of the platform subscription. The builder, the hosting, the domain selection, the forms and the routing into the inbox are included in every plan on the pricing page, from CRM Only at $199 a month up. There is no per-page charge and no separate automation product to connect, because the Intake Process Automation that replaced per-dealer third-party automation tools is already the thing receiving the form.

It also replaces the waiting. A dealership that depends on a website vendor for a new offer page waits days for a build and days again for a change. A manager with Lead Pages builds it before lunch and edits it while the ad is running.

The compliance angle: consent captured at the form, honored everywhere after

A landing page collects a phone number and an email, and everything the store does with them afterward rests on what the form said when the customer submitted it. Because the form and the CRM are one system, the consent the customer gave on the page travels with the lead. The first text goes out under that consent. If the customer later replies to stop, the opt out lands on the customer record and every tool in the CRM honors it, from Bulk Texting to Text Automation, and the DNC Blacklist page runs a live do not call lookup on numbers before campaigns go out. A landing page in a separate tool has no way to carry any of that.

The pages are also the store's pages. The domain is the store's, the content is the store's, and the leads are the store's, on the store's account. When a salesperson leaves, their personal page and its leads stay with the dealership. The landing page optimization page has the practical guidance on what to ask for on a form; the short version is to ask for what you need to respond well and nothing you would have to explain later.

How to turn it on

Lead Pages is live for every account. Open the Website menu in LeadLocate CRM, go to the Lead Page Manager and click Create New Page. Fill in Page Details, turn on at least one lead form, set the URL in the Lead Page URL Setting screen and save. Point an ad, a text or a business card at the URL and the leads begin arriving in the inbox. If you want the page's leads to follow a specific process, open Lead Feeds Manager and Automated Templates and set the first response and the drip for that source.

If your store needs a page layout the builder does not offer out of the box, a particular form field set, or a page that behaves differently by campaign, that is available on request and our team puts it in production for your dealership. The pre-recorded live demo shows a page being built and a lead arriving from it.

What to pair it with

A lead page is the front door; what matters is what happens in the first five minutes after someone walks through it. Pair Lead Pages with round robin lead assignment so every submission has an owner immediately, and with Automated Templates so the first text is sent before the rep has looked up from the desk. Pair it with trackable short links to see which text, post or card drove the click, and with the free live chat for car dealers widget so a visitor who would rather chat than fill a form can.

For a store running its own campaigns, Leads Manager is where the page URL goes on the ad, and the website visitor analytics on the Website menu show what the page did afterward. The all features page lists everything else the pages connect to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a web developer to build a lead page?

No. Lead Pages is a builder inside LeadLocate CRM under the Website menu. A manager creates a page, fills in Page Details, turns on a lead form, sets the URL and publishes. Editing later is the same screen.

Where do the leads from a lead page go?

Into the lead inbox in the CRM, labeled with the page as their source. From there they follow the store's round robin assignment, Lead Feeds Manager settings and Automated Templates like any other lead.

Can a lead page use my own domain?

Yes. The Lead Page URL Setting screen lets you choose from the domains available to your store, including domains purchased through the CRM's self-service domain tools, and set a forward destination if needed.

Can each salesperson have their own page?

Yes. A rep with the right role builds a page with their own form, and its leads route to them. That is the basis of the personal salesperson websites in the platform.

Can I embed a form I already use somewhere else?

Yes. Page Details includes three iFrame form slots alongside the three native lead forms, and a live chat code field for the free chat widget.

How many pages can I build, and what does it cost?

Build as many as your campaigns need; there is no per-page charge. Lead Pages is included in every LeadLocate plan, month to month, starting with CRM Only at $199 a month.
