Month to Month Car Sales Leads You Can Pause

Buy leads the way you run the lot, one month at a time. Add a lead set or a new zone when the floor is hungry, skip a month when the lot is full, and keep every customer record either way.

LeadLocate plans for car sales leads run month to month with no long term contract. When a month calls for fewer leads, Skip A Month, from $199, pauses lead delivery while the account and the CRM stay active, so your tracking number, users and customer history stay exactly where they are. When the floor wants more, add a lead set or an extra zone to the active plan.

Can you buy car sales leads with no contract?

Yes, and at LeadLocate that is the only way we sell them. Every plan is month to month with no long term contract: Inbound for buyer leads, Marketplace Acquisitions for seller leads, the Buyers & Sellers Hybrid Plan for both, and CRM Only for stores that want the software on its own. Each lead plan includes LeadLocate CRM, because the CRM is what receives every lead, answers it in the first minute and hands it to the right salesperson. Current plan prices are on the pricing page.

Month to month changes the relationship. A store stays because the leads close, not because a contract says so, and that is exactly how we want to earn the next month. Every lead in your zone is delivered to you and only you, prescreened at capture with the questions your store chose, and backed by a replacement review, so a bad lead costs you nothing. The month to month automotive CRM guide covers the same terms from the software side.

When does a store pause its leads?

Every dealer knows the months. A big weekend sale clears the front line and the used car manager needs three weeks to restock. The owner takes the family away in August and the store runs on a skeleton crew. A snow market goes quiet in January. A remodel closes half the showroom. Two salespeople leave in the same week and the floor needs time to hire. In each case the store has the same need: fewer new leads for one cycle, with nothing else about the operation disturbed.

That is the trigger for Skip A Month. It is a plan, from $199, that rests lead delivery for one month while the account and the CRM stay fully active. It exists because a quiet month should cost the store a month of lead spend and nothing more: never its tracking number, its customer history, its templates or the work its team put into the system.

How do you skip a month, step by step?

The whole request happens in My LeadLocate, the account portal every plan includes, and it takes a few minutes.

  1. Sign in to My LeadLocate with the email that owns the subscription. A magic link or a text message code gets you in without a password.
  2. Open My Products & Services to see the plan the store is on and every add-on attached to it.
  3. Check Invoices and Transactions on the billing page for the day the cycle renews. The plan changes on that boundary, so the request lands before it.
  4. Press Create Support Request, name the month you want to skip, and say whether the full plan should return automatically after it.
  5. Come back to My Products & Services once the request is answered. The plan line reads Skip A Month for the coming cycle.

The full walkthrough, with what each screen shows, is in how to skip a month.

What stays on for the store during a skipped month?

Everything except new lead delivery. The CRM, the two way texting inbox, the tracking numbers and call routing, the shared calendar and booking links, Automated Templates and follow up processes, the website tools and the mobile app all stay on, for every user, with the same permissions. A salesperson who opens the app on the first morning of the skipped month finds the Workspace exactly as it was.

That makes a skipped month a good month to work the database the store already owns. Run an equity campaign to customers who bought three to five years ago, text the unsold showroom traffic from the last quarter, call back every trade in offer request that went quiet. Bulk texting, bulk email and voicemail drops all run on usage credits, and the customers already in the CRM are the store's own to reach again. A skipped month can still be a month that sells cars.

What does the customer see while leads rest?

Nothing different. A customer who calls the number on last month's buyer's order reaches the store and lands on the right record. A customer who texts back gets a reply on the same thread from the same salesperson. A booking link sent last week still opens the salesperson's calendar. The store's website, inventory pages and forms stay live, and a form a shopper fills out on the store's own site still arrives in the CRM.

From the customer's side, a skipped month is invisible, and that is the point. The store keeps its voice, its number and its follow up, and simply takes fewer new names for one cycle.

What does the manager see?

In My LeadLocate, the plan line on My Products & Services reads Skip A Month for the cycle, and the next invoice shows the Skip A Month rate instead of the full plan rate. The support ticket stays on the account with its printable history, so there is a written record of what the store asked for and when the full plan returns.

In the CRM, the Reports dashboard keeps every number from the months before and keeps counting the activity during the skip: calls, texts, appointments and deals worked from the existing database. When the plan returns, it returns with the same zones, the same lead feeds, the same numbers and the same users. Nothing is rebuilt, because nothing was taken apart.

How do you add more car sales leads when the month turns busy?

The same portal holds the other lever. When the lot is full and the floor is closing, LeadLocate add-ons grow the active plan without changing it: an extra inbound lead set of 40 to 60 leads in the zone the store already works, or an extra 20 mile sales zone for a new town, a second rooftop or a market worth testing. Each extra lead set or extra zone is $599. An extra CRM user login covers the new hire who will work the added volume.

Put together, the store sets its lead volume month by month. Skip a month in the quiet season, run the plan as usual in a normal month, add a lead set or a zone in the busy one. It is the flexibility a dealer principal expects from every other line on the budget, applied to the one line that feeds the showroom.

Skip A Month or Automatic Renewal off: which one do you want?

They are different switches, and My LeadLocate makes the difference clear. Skip A Month holds the account through one quiet cycle and brings the full plan back after it. Turning Automatic Renewal off is a cancellation: the portal warns exactly as it would for a cancel, and the account is set to Cancels at the End of Subscription. The store keeps everything through the period it has paid for.

For a store that wants a breather rather than an exit, Skip A Month is the right tool, and it is priced to be the easy choice. The guide on turning automatic renewal off explains that switch in full for anyone who needs it.

Which compliance checks carry through a skipped month?

All of them, because the CRM stays fully active. The DNC Blacklist keeps every blocked contact out of every view and every recipient list, and runs a live do not call lookup on any number. Every call, text, email and voicemail sent during the skipped month is written to the customer's communications log, the same as any other month. Customer records, credit applications and signed documents stay stored and secure on the account.

When lead delivery resumes, the campaigns our team manages from the store's Leads Manager selections pick up under the same rules as before, including the fair lending rules that govern financing campaigns. The platform is built so the store keeps selling through every month of the year, quiet or busy, with its records always safe and its own phones, website and DMS always its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are LeadLocate car sales leads really month to month?

Yes. Every plan, including Inbound, Marketplace Acquisitions, the Buyers & Sellers Hybrid Plan and CRM Only, is month to month with no long term contract. Current prices are on the pricing page.

How much does it cost to pause my leads?

Skip A Month starts at $199. It rests lead delivery for one cycle while the CRM, your tracking numbers, your users and your customer history stay active on the account.

Do I keep my zone when I skip a month?

Yes. When the full plan returns it comes back with the same zones, lead feeds, numbers and users. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is imported again.

How far ahead do I need to ask?

Before your renewal date. The plan changes on the cycle boundary, so check the date on your latest invoice in My LeadLocate and open the request ahead of it.

Can I add more leads in a busy month?

Yes. Order an extra inbound lead set of 40 to 60 leads or an extra 20 mile sales zone from Add-on Products in My LeadLocate. Each is $599 and attaches to your active plan.

Is Skip A Month the same as turning off Automatic Renewal?

No. Skip A Month holds the account for one quiet cycle. Turning Automatic Renewal off is a cancellation that sets the account to Cancels at the End of Subscription, after the period you have paid for.
