Inventory Website Builder With Publish and Regenerate
An inventory site that reads from the same inventory as your CRM, publishes when you say so, and rebuilds itself when the lot changes. One for the store, and one for every salesperson from the same template.
What is the inventory website builder?
The inventory website builder turns the inventory already in Inventory Link into a website, publishes that website when you choose, and regenerates it as the lot changes, so the site is never a snapshot of last week's cars. That is the one sentence version. It is not a general purpose page editor with an inventory plugin bolted on. It starts from the vehicles, because a dealer's site is its inventory with a front door, and everything else on the page exists to get a shopper from a listing to a conversation.
The builder lives in the Inventory Link portal under Builder, and it reads from the same per dealer inventory store the LeadLocate CRM, the phone app and the text and email composers read from. That store is filled by whatever source the dealership has, a provider feed, an import from the store's own website, or units added by hand, as the inventory feeds page explains. A unit that arrives by feed at night is on the site after the next regenerate, with its VIN decoded, its description parsed and its photos in place.
The template is the other half of the idea. A store builds one site from it, and every salesperson can have an inventory site of their own from the same template, carrying the store's inventory under the salesperson's name and contact details. The car salesman personal websites page covers the personal site as a selling tool; this page is about the builder that produces them.
How does a dealership use it on a normal day?
A used car manager at an independent store opens Builder on a Monday. The store's inventory is already in the platform from the website import our team set up at signup. He picks the template, gives the site a headline and an About section, lets the AI assisted copy draft the rest, reads it and changes two sentences, and looks at how it looks on a phone and a desktop. He publishes. By lunch the store has an inventory site with every unit on the lot, a vehicle finder on the front, and a Schedule a Visit sheet on every vehicle page.
Tuesday a shopper on her phone opens a truck, taps Schedule a Visit, and a sheet rises from the bottom of the screen. She picks Thursday at five. The request lands in the portal's Requests inbox and goes to the email the store chose, and the salesperson picks it up. Wednesday three units sell and two arrive, so the manager regenerates the site and the pages follow the lot. Friday a new salesperson starts, and the manager builds her a personal inventory site from the same template in the time it takes to type her name and phone number. She texts the link to the customers she brought with her.
Nobody wrote a page by hand after Monday, nobody updated a listing on two systems, and the site a shopper sees on Friday is the lot on Friday.

Build, publish, regenerate: what each step does
Build assembles the site from the template and the inventory: a front page with the vehicle finder and the headline and About copy the store wrote or accepted, an inventory listing, and a page per vehicle with photos, price, mileage, decoded specifications and the safety and efficiency data the automotive database attached. AI assisted copy drafts the text a store would otherwise stare at a blank field for, and the store edits or replaces it before anything goes live.
Publish makes the built site live. Nothing a shopper can reach changes until the store publishes, which means a manager can build, look, adjust and build again without a customer ever seeing a half finished page. Regenerate rebuilds every page from the current inventory, so units that sold drop off, units that arrived appear, and price changes carry through, without anyone touching a page. A store regenerates after the feed refreshes, after a batch of arrivals, or whenever the lot has moved enough to matter. The three steps are separate on purpose: building is drafting, publishing is deciding, regenerating is maintaining.
Per salesperson inventory sites from one template
Every salesperson in the store can have an inventory site built from the store's template, with the store's inventory and the salesperson's own name, photo and contact details. The point is the link. A salesperson who texts a customer a link to their own inventory site is sending the customer to a page that says call me, not a page that says call the store and hope you get me. When the customer picks a vehicle and taps Schedule a Visit or sends a request, it arrives with the salesperson's name on it.
Because the sites come from one template, the store controls how they look and what they say, and a change to the template is a regenerate away from being on every site. Because they read from one inventory store, a salesperson's site never shows a car the store sold last week. The personal site is built in the same Builder, by a manager or by the salesperson with the right role, from the team page's invites and roles. A store with twelve salespeople has twelve sites that all look like the store and none that look like a personal project.
What is on the pages: vehicle finder, Schedule a Visit, requests and incentives
The vehicle finder sits on the front of the site. A shopper describes what they want in plain words, budget, body, how they plan to pay, what it has to have, and the finder locates the unit in the store's inventory. Every vehicle page carries a Schedule a Visit sheet and a request sheet, and on a phone every one of those panels rises from the bottom of the screen rather than a form that scrolls the page away. A Schedule a Visit request lands in the portal's Requests inbox.
The same inventory store powers the brand pages and brand hero pages, the OEM incentives showroom for more than twenty makes, and the brand offer pages with their offer card formats and one shared confirmation. A store that wants its inventory on a site it already has instead of, or as well as, a built site uses the embeddable inventory widget, which drops the same live inventory into any page with one embed code.
Where does it live, and what does it replace?
Builder is a section of the Inventory Link portal, which opens from the LeadLocate CRM with one login. Next to it sit the dashboard, the inventory list, Add vehicle, the edit page for a vehicle and its photos, the inbox, the Requests page where visit and information requests arrive, and the team page. The built sites are public pages a shopper reaches from a link a salesperson sends, from a business card, from a text, or from wherever the store points them. The widget covers the store's existing website.
What it replaces is the second website contract. Many stores pay a website vendor for the main site and then discover they want a lighter inventory site for a campaign, a personal site for each salesperson, or a page that actually reflects today's lot, and each of those is another quote. It also replaces the salesperson's own attempt, the free page builder with photos copied from the main site that are three weeks stale by the time a customer sees them. Inventory Link is part of every LeadLocate plan rather than an add on, plans are month to month, and the pricing page lists them.
The compliance angle: one inventory, one price, published on purpose
The most common advertising problem a dealership has online is a price that differs from page to page: one on the main site, one on a salesperson's page, one in a text. A site built from the same inventory store as the CRM and the composers shows the price that is on the record, and a regenerate carries a change everywhere at once. A salesperson's personal site is the same inventory as the store's site, so there is no second set of numbers to reconcile.
The publish step is a control as much as a convenience. AI assisted copy is a draft the store reads and edits, and nothing reaches a shopper until a person publishes it. Stock imagery is used only where a unit has no photo, and a real photo replaces it the moment one exists. A store's advertising program is still the store's, and nothing here stands in for it; what the builder does is remove the stale copies of a listing that are where most of the trouble starts.
How to turn it on, and what to pair it with
Once your inventory is in Inventory Link, from a feed, a website import or hand entered units, open Builder in the portal, pick the template, write or accept the copy, build, look, and publish. Build a personal site for each salesperson from the same template the same way. If your store wants a template beyond the one provided, a layout for a specific campaign, or a site for a second rooftop, that is available on request, and our team puts it in production for your dealership.
Pair the builder with the embeddable inventory widget for the site you already have, with the website import or a provider feed so regenerate always has fresh inventory to work from, and with the CRM composers so a salesperson sends the actual car and the link to their own site in the same text. The all features list shows where the builder sits among everything else in the platform, and the pre-recorded live demo shows a site being built from a live lot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the builder get its inventory?
From the same per dealer inventory store as the LeadLocate CRM, filled by your provider feed, an import from your own website, or units added by hand. An inventory feed and DMS access are not required.
What does Regenerate do?
It rebuilds every page from the current inventory, so sold units drop off, arrivals appear and price changes carry through without anyone editing a page. Publish is separate, so nothing a shopper sees changes until you decide.
Can each salesperson have their own inventory site?
Yes. Personal inventory sites are built from the store's template with the store's inventory and the salesperson's own name and contact details, so a request from a customer arrives with that salesperson's name on it.
What happens when a shopper taps Schedule a Visit?
A sheet rises from the bottom of the phone screen where the shopper picks a time. The request lands in the portal's Requests inbox and goes to the email the store chose, and the salesperson picks it up.
Does the AI write the site for me?
AI assisted copy drafts the headline, About text and page copy from your inventory and store details. You read it, edit it and publish it; nothing goes live until you do.
Is the website builder an extra charge?
No. The builder is part of Inventory Link, which is part of every LeadLocate plan. Plans are month to month and listed on the pricing page.
Build the site from the lot, not the other way around
Build, publish and regenerate an inventory website from the same inventory your CRM uses, with a site for every salesperson. Inventory Link is part of every LeadLocate plan, month to month.
