Run Anzu from Your Dealership CRM

Signage placed inside game environments, and a straight account of what a dealership can and cannot buy there.

LeadLocate does not connect to this platform today, and the request queue is what decides when it gets built. There is no adapter file for it in the ad gateway, and credentials would require an application the vendor reviews. The directory publishes the same test beside every entry, which is why an unbuilt platform still gets a page.

What Anzu actually is, in dealership terms

Anzu places advertising inside the game world itself rather than around it. Not a video that interrupts play and not a banner across the top of the screen, but signage built into the environment: a board at the side of a racing circuit, a hoarding around a football pitch, a poster on a wall in a city the player is driving through. The industry word for it is intrinsic advertising, and the point is that nothing stops.

Because the placement lives in the scene, it is bought and measured differently from an interruptive format. Viewability has to account for distance, angle and how long the surface was actually on screen, which is a genuinely harder measurement problem than counting a video start, and the category has spent years building standards around it.

For a dealership the automotive fit is obvious and is the reason this platform keeps coming up. Racing titles and sports titles are full of exactly the surfaces a car brand has been buying in the physical world for fifty years. A board at turn three is a board at turn three. The difference is that the audience is holding a controller rather than a ticket.

Why a dealership would spend money here

The case is presence without interruption. A player does not skip a billboard, does not close it, and does not resent it, because the alternative is an empty hoarding that makes the world look fake. Brand exposure bought this way is uncommonly well tolerated, and it lands in an environment where an automotive name does not feel out of place at all.

The first honest objection is that this is brand spend and nothing else. There is no form, usually no click, and no path from the surface to your website. A store that measures every line by cost per lead has no way to score this, and a store that pretends it can score it is fooling itself. Judge it against radio, outdoor and stadium signage rather than against a search line.

The second objection is frequency arithmetic. Brand work only pays when enough of the right people see it enough times, and a single rooftop's brand budget spread across a national game audience buys a very thin layer of exposure. Geographic targeting exists in this category but it is coarse inside a game session, and a twenty mile radius takes an already thin buy and thins it further.

The third is the audience skew. Gaming spans every age band now, but the racing and sports titles where automotive signage sits naturally still lean younger than the median buyer at most stores. That is not fatal, and there is a good argument for reaching a first time buyer early, but it is a different objective from moving units this month. If this quarter's problem is volume, our page on what to expect from car sales leads is the more useful read.

Where Anzu stands with LeadLocate today

Not started, and the test that goes with the status is checkable: no adapter file exists in the ad gateway for this platform. No authorization URL, no credential block, no wire-up checklist, and nothing half built sitting behind a badge. Catalogued is not connected, and this directory keeps those words apart on purpose.

On a registered platform an adapter and an ordered checklist already exist, so the only open question is scheduling. Here the adapter would be the first line of work, which makes demand the mechanism rather than a tiebreaker.

Access class is PARTNER, and that gate is the vendor's rather than ours. Credentials come through an application the vendor reviews, and a business that must protect its relationships with game studios reviews advertisers with the studios' interests in front of it. A racing title has manufacturer licensing to consider, and a network selling surfaces inside that title inherits the caution. That step sits ahead of the engineering however many stores ask, and naming it is more honest than implying it is a formality.

What data would move, and in which direction

Stated as a design for a connection nobody has built, not as a description of anything running.

DirectionWhat would move
Out to the platformCampaign structure, the markets and titles you want to appear in, budget and flight dates, and the flat creative built to the surface specifications
Back from the platformSpend, in scene impressions with viewability qualification, time on screen, and the accounts a credential is entitled to reach
Stored on our sideAn encrypted credential, a record of which objects were created under which credentials, and an append only UTC event log
Never part of the planA vehicle catalog, any conversion posting, and any customer or audience file from your database

Look at what the return column contains and what it does not. There are no clicks to speak of and no submissions at all, so anything a store captured would be captured later, on a page you control, through forms that already live in the CRM. That is not a shortcoming of the platform. It is the format being what it is.

How the ad gateway works underneath

An unbuilt platform can be described this exactly because the structure it would join already exists and already carries a live network.

One library inside LeadLocate defines what any advertising platform must be able to do: hand us an authorization URL, exchange the credential for a usable token, list the accounts that credential reaches, deploy a campaign, pause or resume it, return spend and results, and prove on demand that the connection still works. Seven operations, one adapter file per network. Adding a platform is that file written against those seven, which is why a request asks for a bounded piece of engineering rather than an open question.

The reporting operation is where this platform would be unusual. What comes back is attention rather than response, so a store looking at the same screen it uses for a search campaign would see qualified in scene impressions and time on surface where it expects clicks and cost per lead. Designing that difference into the interface honestly, rather than forcing a brand format into a direct response layout, would be part of the work and is worth flagging before anybody asks for it.

Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Every action against any network is written to an append only audit log carrying the company, the network, the user and the detail, stamped in UTC because the table is shared across dealerships and a company local timestamp cannot be reconciled later. Campaign objects record which credentials created them and re-resolve those credentials afterwards, so disconnecting an account never strands the work built beneath it.

Managed by us, or connected to your own account

Two ways to advertise through LeadLocate, and the store chooses.

The first is the webXintel Ads Network: included, built and operated by our team from the selections you make in Leads Manager, and billed as one line rather than a stack of platform statements. No application to file and no credential for you to hold.

The second is your own account. Connect the advertiser account your group already holds and campaigns route through it, on your billing, in your name, with your terms and history intact. For this platform neither path exists today, because there is no adapter and the vendor gate has not been approached.

One constraint holds across the whole gateway and is better stated here than discovered later: deploying, activating, pausing and reading spend is done by our team rather than from a control on your dashboard. That is deliberate while the connection layer is young, and it is on the list to open up rather than something already shipped.

What going live would take, and when you could measure it

Four steps, two of them ours. A request from a store or a group with a brand budget that would actually fund a flight. A queue position earned against every other request in the catalogue. An adapter written against the seven operations, with a credential block and a verification path. And a vendor reviewed application for advertiser access, on the vendor's timeline and shaped by its obligations to the studios.

There is a production step ahead of all four that decides whether this is worth asking for. The creative has to be built to a surface specification, in the aspect ratios the environment uses, and it has to read at a glance from an odd angle at speed. A dealership logo lockup designed for a print advertisement usually does not survive that. Creative production is not something we supply, so the asset either exists or the placement is wasted.

On measurement, expect delivery and viewability figures across a flight rather than anything on a Monday morning. Brand effect on this format is measured in preference over months, and attribution to a specific deal is weak by nature, because the person who chose your store later never announced why. Buy it for presence, and count leads on channels built to capture an opt in.

What we will not claim about Anzu

No connection exists, so the gaps are named rather than glossed.

We have never made a call to this platform. No adapter file, no credential, no verification, no deployment, and nothing partially written.

We do not emit a vehicle catalog or an inventory feed to this or any advertising platform. That gap has a particular flavour here: a specific unit at a specific price cannot be rendered onto a virtual hoarding by us in any case, and no adapter work would change it.

We do not run a server side conversions API, we do not upload offline conversions, and we do not install or manage pixels. On a format with no click and no form, that gap decides what any report could ever contain.

We do not export a hashed customer list for audience matching or suppression, so audience led buying from your own database is not available here.

We do not produce creative for game environments. Surface ready artwork is a design job with real constraints and it is not part of what we sell.

We will not present this as a lead channel. It is brand exposure inside a scene, and describing it any other way would set a store up to spend a season looking for submissions that were never going to arrive.

If you want Anzu on your store

Ask by name, attach the rooftop or the group, and say what you want a player to remember rather than what you want them to do. Requests are recorded against the platform they name and the tally decides build order, because a dealer with a brand budget and a clear objective is a better signal than any internal ranking.

Two things strengthen a request here. Say whether a brand budget exists that is separate from the monthly lead spend, because funding this from a lead line guarantees it gets cancelled before it has done anything. And say whether surface ready artwork exists, since a format built entirely from artwork is worth nothing without it.

Meanwhile the managed path runs today and waits on none of this. Platform pricing sits on the pricing page and does not change with the networks you turn on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does LeadLocate integrate with Anzu today?

No. The status is not started, and its test is that no adapter file exists in the ad gateway for this platform. There is no credential, no checklist and no partial code, and the request count decides whether that changes.

Can I use my own Anzu ad account?

Not through the CRM. Nothing has been written on our side, and access is partner gated, so credentials come through an application the vendor reviews under obligations it carries to the game studios. An existing relationship removes the vendor half of the answer only.

What happens if I request Anzu?

It is recorded against this platform by name and counted, and the count feeds build order across the catalogue. A person answers with a range or a reason. Requests carrying a separate brand budget and finished artwork weigh more than requests that carry neither.

Can I put a specific vehicle and price on a virtual billboard?

Not through us. We emit no vehicle catalog to any advertising platform, so dynamic unit level artwork is off the table, and in scene surfaces are usually flat brand creative anyway. Treat it as outdoor signage rather than as a merchandising channel.

Is this a lead source?

No. There is generally no click and never a form, so nothing arrives to be worked. It competes with radio, outdoor and stadium signage, and it should be funded from a brand line rather than from the money that has to produce appointments this month.

Is the gaming audience too young for my store?

Mobile and console gaming now spans every adult age band, but racing and sports titles do skew younger than the average buyer at most rooftops. That can be an argument for reaching a first time buyer early. It is not an argument for this month's volume.
