LG Ad Solutions Integration for Dealerships
Content recognition conquest across LG televisions, home screen placements, and exactly where that sits with our ad gateway.
LeadLocate does not connect to this platform today, and the request queue is what decides when it gets built. No adapter file exists in the ad gateway for LG Ad Solutions, so there is nothing to authorize and nothing to push. What does exist is the gateway those adapters plug into, and the directory that publishes a status with a stated test beside every platform.
What LG Ad Solutions actually is, in dealership terms
LG Ad Solutions sells advertising against LG's own televisions rather than against a single app. The unit of inventory is the set in the living room, which is a different thing from buying a show or a streaming service, and it changes what a dealership is actually purchasing.
Two products carry most of the weight. The first is content recognition targeting, where the television itself identifies what is on the screen and audiences are assembled from viewing behaviour across the installed base. The second is the home screen, the panel a viewer sees after pressing the power button and before choosing an app at all. That second placement has no equivalent in search or social. It is the television version of a billboard at the entrance, and it is sold on reach rather than on clicks.
Ad breaks inside LG's own free channel lineup round out the buy. For a store, the practical framing is simple: this is a way to appear in front of households in your trade area while they are deciding what to watch, not a way to catch somebody who is already shopping for a truck.
Why a dealership would spend money here
The argument is conquest at the household level. Content recognition means the audience can be built from what a household actually watched, including competing automotive advertising, which is a signal no keyword list produces. Layer a radius around the store on top of that and the buy reaches people who will physically drive past your lot, on the largest screen in the house, with the sound on.
The honest objection is that none of this is measurable the way a search click is. A home screen impression produces no click, no form and no session. A household sees your name, and weeks later somebody types your brand into a search bar or drives in. That gap between the spend and the visible result is real, and a dealership that judges television by same day lead count will always conclude it failed.
The second objection is device concentration. You are buying LG households, not the market. A store with a modest monthly budget can burn it reaching the same subset of homes repeatedly, which is why frequency management matters more here than budget size. If you want the honest version of the whole channel rather than this one seller, connected TV advertising for dealers covers it, and programmatic display is the cheaper way to buy incremental screens.
Where LG Ad Solutions stands with LeadLocate today
Available on request, which on this directory has a published test: not started, and demand decides the order. The evidence behind that word is that no adapter file exists in the gateway for this platform. There is no authorization URL, no credential block, no checklist and no stub returning a refusal. Nothing has been written.
Saying so is the point of the directory. Nineteen networks are registered with adapters scoped and written down, one is implemented, and the rest are honest blanks. Putting an LG logo on a grid would take an afternoon and would tell you nothing true.
Access class is CERTIFIED, and that is the vendor's gate rather than ours. A contract, certification or minimum spend is required before API access, so this is not a platform where a developer registers an application and starts calling endpoints the same afternoon. Whoever builds this integration, us or anybody else, clears a commercial conversation with LG first. That step sits outside our control and it is the reason a certified platform moves slower through the queue than a public one.
What data would move, and in which direction
Stated as a design, because none of it runs. This is what the gateway contract would ask of an LG adapter if the queue reached it.
| Direction | What would move |
|---|---|
| Out to LG | Campaign structure, the geographic radius around the store, budget and flight dates, and the video creative to serve |
| Back from LG | Spend, impressions, completed views and reach and frequency by household, once a reporting endpoint were available to us |
| Stored on our side | An encrypted credential, a record of which objects were created and by which credentials, and an append only event log |
| Never moves | Your customer list, your inventory feed, and any hashed audience built from either |
The last row is not a scheduling note. It is a capability we do not have for any network in this directory, and the section below says so in plain words rather than leaving it to a table.
How the ad gateway works underneath
The reason a request for LG is a scoped piece of work rather than an open ended project is that the hard part is already built and it is not network specific.
Inside LeadLocate there is one library defining what any advertising platform must be able to do: hand us an authorization URL, exchange the code for a token, list the accounts you own, deploy a campaign, pause or resume it, return spend and results, and prove on demand that the connection still works. Seven operations, one adapter file per network. Adding a platform means answering those seven questions for that vendor. It does not mean rebuilding the plumbing, and it does not disturb the network already running.
Underneath that, access tokens are encrypted before storage using AES-256-GCM, and every action taken against any network is written to an append only audit log carrying the company, the network, the user and the detail, stamped in UTC because these tables are shared across dealerships and a timezone relative timestamp is one nobody can reconcile later. Campaign objects record which credentials created them and re-resolve those same credentials afterwards, so disconnecting an account later does not strand the work built under it.
For a certified platform like this one, the gating item is never the plumbing. It is the contract.
Managed by us, or connected to your own account
There are two ways to advertise through LeadLocate and you choose which.
The first is the webXintel Ads Network. It is included, our team builds and operates the campaigns from the selections you make in Leads Manager, and it arrives as one line item instead of a stack of platform invoices. Nothing to set up, no developer application to file, and no dependency on the adapter this page is about.
The second is your own account. Where an adapter exists, you connect the advertising account your store already has and campaigns route through it, on your billing, in your name, with your spend history intact. For LG that path does not exist yet, and a certified vendor gate means it would not be a same day setup even after the code was written.
One limit stated plainly, because it applies across the whole gateway rather than just here: pushing, pausing and reading numbers from a network is done by our team today, not from your dashboard. That is a deliberate constraint while the connection layer is young.
What going live would take, and when you could measure it
Four steps, in order, and the first is not engineering. A commercial agreement with LG Ad Solutions covering API access and whatever minimum accompanies it. Then credentials and an adapter file answering the seven gateway operations. Then a campaign deployment path that respects the paused by default rule every network in the gateway follows. Then reporting, so spend and delivery come back into the same place as everything else.
On measurement, be careful with this channel, and we would rather say it here than after you had spent. Television built this way is not reliably attributable inside twenty four hours. A household that saw your spot on the home screen does not click, and the response shows up later as brand searches, direct traffic and walk ins that nobody can cleanly tie back. Read it over weeks, against a control period, and treat any dashboard claiming same day television attribution with suspicion.
Response capture would run the way it does for every screen based channel: a phone number, a landing page and a memorable offer, with the calls and forms landing in the same CRM that works the rest of your pipeline. What we would not do is invent a lead count for a placement that produces none, and what to expect from car sales leads is the longer version of that argument.
What we will not claim about LG Ad Solutions
This is the section that matters most on a page about something nobody has built.
We have never deployed a campaign to LG Ad Solutions from the CRM, because there is no code that would do it. Anyone describing this as an integration is describing a logo.
We do not emit a vehicle catalog to any advertising platform. Inventory Link ingests your feed and merchandises your units on your own properties, which is a different thing from handing a catalog to a television seller.
We do not upload hashed audiences. Content recognition targeting is LG's capability, built from LG's own viewing data. Matching it against your customer list would require an audience export we do not have, so a segment of your past buyers is not something we could deliver here.
We do not run pixels, server side conversion APIs or offline conversion uploads. None of those exist anywhere in our stack, and the closed loop measurement a television seller will ask about therefore does not exist either.
Everything above is a gap, not a secret. You would find out either way, and finding out from us is cheaper for both of us.
If you want LG Ad Solutions on your store
Ask, and attach your store to the ask. Requests are recorded against the platform they name and counted, and that tally is the input to build order, because a dealership ready to spend on a channel is a better signal than any roadmap meeting. You will hear back from a person with a range or a reason rather than silence.
Be aware of what a certified gate does to the answer. Public platforms move fastest, partner platforms wait on an application, and certified platforms wait on a contract. That ordering is not a preference, it is arithmetic, and it is visible across the whole directory if you sort by access class.
In the meantime the managed path runs today and does not wait on any of this. Pricing for the platform is on the pricing page and does not change based on which networks you turn on.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LeadLocate integrate with LG Ad Solutions today?
No. This platform sits at available on request, and the published test for that status is that nothing has been started. There is no adapter file, no credential block and no checklist in the ad gateway for LG.
Can I use my own LG Ad Solutions ad account?
Not through the CRM. There is no authorization path to route your account through, and the vendor gate here is a contract rather than a self service signup, so this would not become a same day setup even once the code existed.
What happens if I request LG Ad Solutions?
It is recorded against LG specifically and counted. The tally decides build order across the eighty platforms in this state. A request with a store name and a budget behind it moves a platform faster than one without.
Why does a certified access class slow this down?
Because API access follows a contract, certification or minimum spend rather than a developer signup. That negotiation is LG's process and not ours, so it sits ahead of any engineering we would do.
How would I know whether LG advertising worked?
Over weeks, not hours. Home screen and content recognition placements produce no click, so response arrives as brand search, direct traffic and showroom visits. Results here are not reliably attributable inside a day and we will not pretend otherwise.
Could you target households that watched a competitor's advertising?
That is a real LG capability and it is not one we could operate through the CRM today. Building it would need the adapter, the contract, and a targeting interface none of which exist for this platform.
