Verified Partners Directory for Lenders and Vendors

Finding a lender for a hard file used to mean a rep's phone number on a sticky note. SecureWebX puts lenders and vendors in a directory by category, marks the verified ones, and lets you add them to your own partner list.

The Verified Partners directory is a searchable directory of lenders and vendors by category inside SecureWebX. Verified Partners carry a note of what was checked, such as licenses and references, and lender entries link to public regulator records. A store filters by state, credit tier and dealer type, adds a partner to its own Partner List, and works with it through Send to Lender, the mailbox, eFax and export.

What is the Verified Partners directory?

The Verified Partners directory is the place inside SecureWebX where a dealership finds the lenders and vendors it might work with, sees which of them have been verified and what that verification covered, and adds the ones it chooses to its own Partner List. That is the one sentence version. It answers a question every finance office has at some point, usually at four on a Friday with a customer in the showroom: who else will look at this file, and how do I reach them.

The directory is organized by category, from auto lending to the vendors a store leans on around a deal, and it is searchable by lender name or brand across every category. A lender entry carries the practical filters a finance manager actually uses: the states it lends in, the credit tiers it works, the dealer types it accepts, the products it offers and the size of its auto loan book. Bank and credit union entries link to their public regulator records, so a manager can confirm who a lender is before sending a customer's application anywhere near it. A Verified Partner entry states what was verified, licenses checked, references, and so on, so verified is a specific statement rather than a badge.

This page is the product side view of the directory inside SecureWebX. The online credit application software page covers the application system as a whole, and the directory is the part of it that answers where an application goes once it is worked.

How does a finance office use it on a normal day?

A special finance manager at an independent store has a customer with a thin credit file, a solid job and a real down payment, and her three usual lenders have passed. In a store without a directory she starts calling people she met at a trade show. In SecureWebX she opens the Directory, filters to her state, the customer's credit tier and her dealer type, and gets a short list of lenders that work files like this one. She checks the regulator record on one, reads the lender guidelines on another, and adds two of them to her Partner List. From the partner entry she sends a request for more information, and the lender replies into the mailbox, where the thread stays with the partner rather than in her personal email.

The next morning one of the new lenders has answered. She shares the application through Send to Lender, a code gated, expiring, watermarked share with a lender response portal, and the lender records a decision. The customer who was going to walk out drives home. The new lender is now on her Partner List with its capabilities, its contact, its own fax number if it wants one, and every application she has shared with it. The directory turned a Friday afternoon phone tree into a ten minute search, and the relationship it produced is recorded rather than remembered.

What does Verified mean, and what does it not mean?

Verified means our team checked the partner before marking it, and the entry says what was checked: licenses, references and the like. It is a statement about the partner being who it says it is and doing what it says it does. It is not a statement about how that partner will treat your customer's application, and nobody can make that statement. A lender's decision on a file is the lender's decision, and a directory that implied otherwise would be selling a guess.

What the directory does honestly is shorten the distance between a need and a qualified contact. The filters, state, credit tier, dealer type, product, loan book size, narrow the list to partners whose stated business matches your file. The regulator record links let you confirm the institution. The verified note tells you what was examined. From there the decision to work with a partner is yours, which is how lender relationships should work, and the directory keeps the record of that decision on your Partner List.

Your Partner List and Preferred Lenders: the working set

The directory is the universe. The Partner List is the store's own working set, the lenders and vendors it actually sends business to, and it is where the rest of SecureWebX looks when it needs a partner. Adding a partner from the directory puts it on the list with its partner type and capabilities. A store can also add a partner the directory has never heard of, a local credit union with two branches, a warranty company it has used for years, and invite that partner to set up its own side, so the partner enters its own contact details rather than the finance office typing them.

Preferred Lenders is the shortlist within the list, the handful a finance manager reaches for first, so Send to Lender and the mailbox present the usual suspects at the top. Each partner on the list can carry its own eFax number, so fax traffic from that lender is associated with it on arrival, and its own export destination through the lender and DMS export formats, so a file goes out in the shape that partner expects. Email to a partner goes through the console mailbox and the thread stays with the partner. A partner is a record with everything attached, which is the difference between a list and a rolodex.

The vendor directory, the partner integrations catalog and custom integration requests

Lenders are the loudest need but not the only one. The vendor directory covers the other categories a store works around a deal, browsable by category and searchable the same way, so the vendor side of the finance office lives in the same place as the lender side. A vendor added to the Partner List gets the same treatment: type, capabilities, contact, mailbox thread, fax number if needed.

Next to the directory sits the partner integrations catalog, which lists the partner systems SecureWebX can deliver an application to and how, including a decision API path for a partner's own system when the partner has one. When your store works with a lender or vendor whose system is not in the catalog, the console carries a custom integration request. Fill it in, name the partner and what they need to receive, and our team takes it from there. Anything not already built is available on request, and our team puts it in production for your dealership. A store never has to choose a lender because the software happens to know that lender; it chooses the lender and the software follows.

Where does it live, and what does it replace?

The Directory and the Partner List live in the SecureWebX console, which opens from the SecureWebX button on the LeadLocate CRM dock with one login, and in the SecureWebX app on iOS and Android. The Directory is a menu item of its own with category browsing and search. Partner List sits with it, and Preferred Lenders is a view within the list. Send to Lender, the mailbox and the export controls on each application all read from the same Partner List, so a partner added once is available everywhere it should be.

What it replaces is the finance manager's personal network as the store's only lender map: the rep's cell number on a sticky note, the trade show business cards in a drawer, the email thread from two managers ago that nobody can find, and the lender who was never called because nobody knew it existed. When that manager leaves, the network leaves with them. A Partner List belongs to the store. SecureWebX is part of every LeadLocate plan rather than an add on, plans are month to month, and the pricing page lists them.

The compliance angle: know who you send a customer's file to, and keep the record

Sending a consumer's credit application to a party you have not confirmed is a compliance problem before it is a business problem. The directory's regulator record links, the verified note on a Verified Partner, and the lender guidelines on an entry give a finance manager a way to confirm a lender before a share goes out. The share itself, through Send to Lender, is code gated, expiring, revocable and watermarked, and the application record keeps which partners received it.

Requests sent from the directory, mailbox threads with a partner and applications shared with a partner are all part of the SecureWebX record, under the same two factor sign in, encryption at rest and audit log that protect the application, and they follow the same rule: archive, never delete. A question later about which lenders saw a file, and when, has a documented answer. As with everything in this product, the directory supports a store's own compliance program rather than standing in for it.

How to turn it on, and what to pair it with

The directory is on for every SecureWebX company from the day the account is created with your LeadLocate subscription. Open the console, choose Directory, browse by category or search, and add partners to your Partner List. Invite a partner who is not in the directory to set up its own side. If your store wants a lender or vendor added to the directory, or a category beyond the ones it carries, tell us and our team adds it.

Pair the directory with Send to Lender, which is where a new partner earns its place on the list, with export formats and eFax for the partners that want a file or a fax rather than a share, and with the stipulations workflow so the documents a new lender asks for land on the application. The all features list shows where the directory sits among everything else in the platform, and the pre-recorded live demo shows the console it lives in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Verified mean on a partner?

That our team checked the partner and the entry states what was checked, such as licenses and references. It confirms who the partner is and what it does. It is not a prediction of how the partner will decide on any application; that is always the lender's call.

Can I add a lender that is not in the directory?

Yes. Add the partner to your Partner List directly, or invite the partner to set up its own side so it enters its own contact details. It then works with Send to Lender, the mailbox, eFax and export like any other partner.

How do I narrow the directory to lenders that fit my store?

Filter by state, credit tier, dealer type, product and the size of the lender's auto loan book, or search every category by lender name or brand. Bank and credit union entries link to their public regulator records.

What is the difference between the directory and my Partner List?

The directory is every lender and vendor SecureWebX lists. Your Partner List is the set your store has chosen to work with, and Preferred Lenders is the shortlist within it. Send to Lender, the mailbox and export all read from your list.

What if a partner needs a delivery method that is not in the catalog?

The console carries a custom integration request. Name the partner and what it needs to receive, and our team puts it in production for your dealership.

Is the directory an extra charge?

No. The Verified Partners directory is part of SecureWebX, which is part of every LeadLocate plan. Plans are month to month and listed on the pricing page.
